Money, money, money. You need it in every GT game, but here's a trick I found which can make you a millionaire in minutes.
You'll need:
A License
Fast(ish) car
Step 1: Play the Capri Rally. You will win the Toyota RSC Rally Car.
Step 2: Sell it. You will get 250,000CR.
Step 3: Repeat until you have enough money to buy the car you want.
I used this to gain every buy-able car in the game, until my save was corrupted
