Discussed in this past weekend's installment of "WindTunnel with Dave Despain", there's a plan for World Superbike to feature 1200cc twin-cylinder engines for next season. This was to help keep Ducati in WSBK. They will have to weigh about six more kilograms, however. This will mean a batte between 1200cc twin-cylinders vs. 1000cc inline-fours. Do you think we could see some awesome racing with these machines? I don't really watch WSBK, but I admit that this would be pretty cool for these very high-displacement motorcycles to go racing.

I love motorbikes so much I still have my 125 I built from a bare frame it's a cagiva mito evo 1 rossi rep but with my number on I use in all racing games.

I bought a 1997 750 srad a few years ago fitted a k series back end amongst other things and had many hours of fun.
I also did my 1 track day on it, living 3 miles from Donington is a great advantage.
I then got addicted and bought a 750 k7 as a new road bike.
You can see I have added my own touches and changed a few bits and bobs.

I'm sorry to say the srad is now my track bike for now unit I can afford something a little newer but it still gives me that grin factor.

Which I may just take an image from and link back to, in case any potential sponsors happen to drop bye. *wink wink*

Top bike is a 1988 Yamaha RZ350, raced that for a year before moving on to a 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R.
Hopefully next year we can do some races in the States to go down the road to AMA racing.

And a big goal is to do road races and eventually, the Isle of Man.

I'm a biker myself. Sadly, being 16 means that I can only ride a 50cc but I've made the most of it and currently have an Aprilia RS50.

I am a massive fan of motorcycle racing and just motorcycles in general. I attended the MotoGP event at Silverstone this year with a paddock pass, and I owe it to Mike Rotch for the tip-off. I met a whole bundle of riders throughout the weekend (see avatar and MotoGP 2013 thread) and had a blast despite being horribly ill.

I have also interviewed a few motorcycle racers thanks to my career as a journalist and radio presenter. The most recognisable personalities are Anthony West, Gino Rea and Steven Odendaal.

I'm glad Nicky won one. The difference between knowing the track and not is obviously a big factor at a place like Laguna Seca with so many elevation changes. It's good for Repsol HRC Honda too. They were well on their way to being humiliated...again.

Here you go the entire USGP race courtesty of Dorna:
