Shifter karts have finally come to GT5 courtesy of hybriding and Ridox2JZGTE. I'm just the pilot and videographer:)

Like the video, the music too :) The kart is awesome to drive, feels there's more control now being able to shift gears :)

Oh for sure!! You are in the powerband all the time, just as in a real shifter kart!! Although this one is probably closer to 250CC performance than 125 shifters, anything is possible to create.

I've probably watched it 20 times now and I never get tired of the laugh track in the beginning!
 
A lap with 59 HP shifter kart at Laguna Seca with Comfort Soft tire :D I think the grip is more realistic with CS tire than with any sports tire.
