Dr. Scratchnsniff is a funny, non-existant to my knowledge, one.

Worked with a guy from Zimbabwe for a time, and he had a mass of stories to tell of native Africans who'd kept and combined the names of British and German settlers without actually understanding the language they were using, and so came up with some hilarious iterations, mutated over time. The one that sticks most fondly in my memory was Everard **** , no kidding. Ivaa Small-Willie was another one, though anyone with a family name like Small-Willie deserves whatever he gets.
Also, my best friend once had a Vietnamese OB-GYN called Dang My Dong, however that's pronounced - not that I care, it's funny enough in English.

Manchester United *spits* currently have a player called "Nicky Butt" (although it might not be for long). In fact, when I was at school, someone picked a Fantasy Football team with all the stupidest named players in it. Seaman (David), Butt (Nicky), Cox (Ian), Dicks (Julian)...
The German national team keeper is, when it isn't Oliver Kahn, Hans-Jorge Butt (pronounced "Hans Your Gay Butt" - really...).
I would said OB-GYN was only 2 syllables, but I guess thats just me.Originally posted by Famine
I have a medic friend who hates this. He just doesn't understand (and I'm kind of with him, although it's not top of my hate list) why American hospitals refer to the department as OB-GYN (five syllables) when the British hospitals call it Obs & Gynae (four syllables)... Still, to each their own.
Through the letterbox.
