Welcome to TheLuig755's Le Mans Prototype Series!
Slide1.JPG

This series is the pinnacle of prototype racing on Gran Turismo 6. With 4 classes and races all over the world, this is guaranteed to be one of the greatest endurance racing events on GTP!

Class Structure
Slide2.JPG
The cars are all proven contenders in real-life endurance racing, and are split into four individual classes:
LMP1 is the class for the fastest cars on the grid, with cutting-edge technology and maximum speeds exceeding 300 kph!
LMP1-HY is a sub-class of the LMP1 cars, and is considered to be part of the LMP1 class.
LMP2 is a class for mostly open-top cars, and are just slightly slower than their LMP1 counterparts.
LMPC is a spec class for the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP, with detuned base model versions of the LMP1 car.

Unlike most GTP racing series, there are no specs for specific cars. The cars in each class are governed by a simple power limit and minimum weight.

Stability/Traction control, Skid recovery force and the driving line CANNOT NOT BE USED.

Race format
The race day consists of multiple sessions, as listed in order of their starting time:
Free practice: A general testing session, where racers can test their cars prior to the race.
Spec checks: All cars are to leave the track to be evaluated for regulations compliance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All sessions within these lines are
PARC FERME and under no circumstances are drivers allowed to change their setups past this point.
Qualifying: Drivers are permitted to set flying laps to qualify for the race during this 10 minute session.
Race: The main event, held as a 15 minute enduro event with a signal start.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Race 1 is for the LMP2/LMPC teams
Race 2 is for the LMP1 teams

To register, leave your GTP name, your PSN ID, the team name that you wish to race under, the category that you will be racing in, and the car that you wish to race with. The latter two can be left blank if you have not confirmed your car and category.
You are allowed to have multicar entries:
Single-driver multicar entries are run by one driver under the same team name. This can consist of up to 1 car in LMP1, and up to 1 car in either LMP2 or LMPC.

Double-driver multicar entries are run by two separate drivers under the same team name. This can consist of up to 2 cars in LMP1, and your choice of 1 car in LMP2 and 1 car in LMPC, or 2 cars in LMP2 or LMPC.
MID-SEASON CAR CHANGES ARE PROHIBITED. If you absolutely have to change to another car halfway through the season, contact me directly and we will assess your situation.

Up to four drivers will be designated as stewards. Please leave a message if you are interested in taking this role.

Race calendar
The race calendar is yet to be confirmed. Keep connected to this thread for details.

We'll see you on the track!
Stay sweet!

Did you test the cars before the thread was created? Is because there's 11 cars....
I've just put simple Power restrictions and weight handicaps on the cars to keep them equal without the hassle. If the field is dominated by one particular car, I will place additional restrictions to that car (maybe a Super GT-style success ballast?) if necessary.

And I've sent you a PM about the list of cars that I've found which that can be used for our Super GT300 series.

@Harsk100, would you like to sign up if your PS3 is working for the start of the season? We're still looking to fill the driver lineup. Just tell me the class that you want to race in, and the car that you want to use. Remember that I've introduced a weight handicap system to equalise the field.

If I turn on my PS3 and if it lasts, I'm in. But if it is at sundays, then I can't: There is already an championship which I registred in March.

What happened to Super GT300? Cancelled?
