This link, and others like it, are getting posted and I think there should be some kind of consequences for it. It's just so unacceptable to post such a thing. It really interferes with using the site and I think Jordan ought to know about it.

It's not the end of the world if you click it or anything but it sure is a pain in the ass.

If you see things like this posted, please report it to moderators. We'll be happy to A) delete the link, and B) spank the naughty little boys who do things like this.

You forgot to delete MileFile's link :D

I do agree with Milefile though, there are people on GTP that are smarter then to just click on a link, but also you have to think there are people that are the "ok" clickers which would not know how to stop the links or even check the properties of them in the first palce. It would be nice to have a general agreement not to post such spam links :D. Again, I see that you mods also have a ton of work to maintain GTP so we do have to do our part too.

Well when the link says it's a picture of a '95 SHO and it's from what I would've considered to be a trustworthy member, yeah, I just clicked it. I guess we all have to be more suspicious. That sucks, but what can you do?

I would say that where links are being placed, a certain degree of "caveat emptor" should apply. Clicking a link is a voluntary activity, and it's up to the Mod staff to ensure that the links do not go to inappropriate material, not to save people from their own dangerous curiosity.

it's just a fun trick. I'm gonna go and delete all the links in the various posts I made that have this in it (I didn't click it, and unless it's sexually promiscuous, which I would have had no idea of, I don't see any problem with it; aside from that it's a mean trick...)

Whats so hard about clicking it once, realising your mistake and not clicking it again?

Or at least looking at the status bar or right click ~> properties?

Duh?

It's not hard. Duh. Did you read this?

"It's not the end of the world if you click it or anything but it sure is a pain in the ass."

Duh.

Or this?

"I guess we all have to be more suspicious. That sucks, but what can you do?"

Duh.

It is extremely annoying, I wouldn't recommend anyone posting it. If it continues to be a problem, I'll add the link to the swear filter so it won't show up.

Oh sorry, I forgot you like to complain.

It's just a joke, no need to ***** and moan about it...

I'm sorry. I forgot you're a prick. No need to elaborate on that.

No kidding, this is going nowhere good.
