Things in drag rooms that irritate me

On? That doesn't make sense. Don't most people talk trash if you use driving aids in drag racing?
 
When people talk crap when I have srf and tcs on in my x1.

Also when people talk crap when I crash them or drive backwards on the track.

Same here. That's a first.

Btw is it just me or are there ALOT of rooms being made with all aids available? Everywhere I join the rooms have the options although most seem to run with the aids off.
 
Im mot sure, but i had one guy in a c63(?) benz and he was getting trashes so he said turn on tc and i can beat all of you and run 8.xxx ect ect. Some people are, well, theres no better way in my mind to put this but they have a few, or in some cases almost all cards missing from the deck.
 
Ohh I see what your saying some guy is telling the host to turn ON srf.

And a c63 running an 8? I'd call BS on him even with srf.

Yeah with or without the SRF that car will not do 8"s. Mines hits 9.8 with SRF on. With it off it does low 9.8. So hes full of it... That car will never keep up with Vipers, Enzo's, GTR's ect...

Oh yea i know it no doubt, i know my stuff, mostly. I know where most cars rank and what i can beat with what. Think ive been dragging for about 7 months now, lol, but i dont own one so i would have guessed about 10 sec. I still dont see why people try to say they trap seven seconds and things like that when they know its so far from the truth.
 
I think that's peoples method of timing (who don't have ssrx) from start, to the shadow at Indy.

True, but try to tell one of them its impossible, they dont like that, lol. If i where them i might try and run a friend who has ssrx and see how much i win or lose by and try to judge the difference.

If my cars damaged i get off the track and back in, or even if my tire is brown from dirt.

-also when people type when their on the line
- some one enters and his first words typed or said are "WHO WANTS TO RUN ME IN PINKS" or "I HAVE THE FASTEST XXXXXXX IN THE GAME"
 
when someone starts before the set time (when theres no ghost) and blocks you when you actually are trying to drag against someone else. People that swerve in front of you when they know you'll catch them.

Unfortunately, this is the only way to do it if there are only two people. Also, if you think about it, using the timer is closer to using a real tree because you can anticipate when to go... pre-stage, stage, yellow, yellow, yellow, green, red. Using ghost is better in gt5, but the clock is more realistic.

Your both right, but some people start a little bit before time, because the timer displays tenths of a second, and they think they can get away with it... those cheating dirtbags.

Not so much as people are used to racing others who leave at .7 or .8 of the given time.

Im just not a fan to much variance in timing. Atleast with ghosting you know when someone leaves early, lags or guesses the ghost right.

Peolple who say, lets drag to a certain line (3000, 5000 or 10000km, SSRX) and change the rules halfway through because im winning, either change the distance, or say its the first to stop at the other end and they brake before the finish. These guys really annoy me.

This is intensely annoying. I'll do a pinks drag at Indy and when I smash them they run into end wall and claim a win.. Or I will stop at the end of top gear straight and I'll get raged at, and people will say I max out and so I stop.
 
Yesterday, I was in one, and the host left, the guy that got put in charge turned it into a race lobby and started the race when he had an LMP racecar, and we all had drag cars with almost locked defferentials. we were not happy campers. He also forgot to turn the abs on... which for some reason he had off???
 
When the guy ghosting says 3,2,1 GO on the mic, then he wouldnt ghost at all. It seems like lately that every room I go into its complete chaos. The host is gone, no one can line up with bumping someone. Then thats turns into ramming, its getting worse. I went through fours rooms before I found a decent one last night.
