Well, while I don't dislike the New England winters, I wouldn't mind living in San Diego either. I'm just not all that picky when it comes to weather. I don't get these other people who get all fussed about the weather.
"Oh, no! It's raining, I better do this half-run, half-walk thing and hold a book or something over my head so I don't get a couple drops of water on me and potentially melt."
Or the people who get all worked up about having to shovel.
It's friggin' water, people.
I've also decided that I absolutely loathe people who go to Cape Cod every weekened. Every Friday there is a mass exodus to Cape Cod. I've been to Cape Cod and it's not especially nice. There is nothing to do. These people drive for 5 hours to Cape Cod and then 5 hours getting back in stupid traffic. If you love beaches so much, move to San Diego so you aren't in my way clogging up Route 3 for 4 hours.
The odd thing about that computer class is that a couple of the other students are all flabbergasted--"You're going too fast". Hello, people, he's showing you how to make text bold and how to input numbers into an excel field. Too fast? God. If I don't have a 4.0 by the time I'm out of there, I may as well blow my brains out.
Oh yeah, and I'm pretty sure I need to start investing some of my money somehow. I'd like to give the 'ol stock market a try, but I don't know where to begin. I just got a book about the bare basics and how it works and yada yada yada. I predict I'll either be a millionaire in 5 years or I'll have lost all of my money and be filing for bankruptcy. Lately I've been working a motherload of hours and I don't really want to be one of these people who works 75 hours a week every week for the next 50 years. It's time to make my money work for me, as the old cliche goes.
