Well, it is supposed that F1 cars are a bonus to GT3. They took out the option to take used cars from GT2 but added F1 cars (correctly If i am wrong, I dont know a lot about GT2, but Ill get it!). :D

Well, all I want Sony to do, is to add HotRods from the "past". It would be a blast. Would be good to have older racing models to pick. I know it is crazy, specially to get the authorization to do it.

I love the old cars as much as new cars. :rolleyes:
 
i wish they had my favorite muscle car in gt3,the DODGE CHALLENGER T/A it has a 340 Cubic inch small block with a six pack (three 2 barrol carberators) it is truely the coolest muscle car 😈
 
Well, GT4, hmmm I think it's time to bring back the racing mods from GT2. Also, would like to see damage, and a body shop added as well...
 
I would like to see the used car option back. I do miss that. And I had kinda forgotten the race mod from GT2, that would be nice also. I would like to see more of the one model races.

I was thinking about some way to match up some of the race cars in a division all their own. That would make car selection more challenging and fun. Something to match up in a series of LM race cars.... for example.

If I think of more, I will post here later.
 
A couple of things I'd like to see in the next versions:

More courses at night

More rain courses

In the endurance races, I think it would be cool if the daylight and/or weather changed. Don't you think it'd be cool if, say, towards then end of the Stage 11 endurance races, you saw the weather clear and the sun begin to rise?

Maybe some more classic cars. (You have to admit, for the creators just to get the licenses for the amazing number of cars in GT3 is awfully impressive, let alone all the work to put them in the game)

Damage

AI drivers that try to pass you more than bump you

But mostly, please don't mess with the realistic driving physics, car dynamics, or all the stuff that makes this game great.
 
a whole grid of DTC or BTTC or JGTC cars would be great
 
-Better cars (IE one of BMW's performance cars, and mabye even the M3 GTR)

-More freedom when buying upgrades for your car. Let us turbocharge the Corvette and Viper. Let us take any car we want on dirt, if it doesnt work out to well then its our own stupid fault. Let us increase the displacement of more cars (including the already over-displacing Camaro Corvette Viper and Mustang).

-Autumn Ring Mini and Motorsports Land!!!

-Bring back the used car section, and give us some used models from America (dont forget the classics:D) and Europe this time.

-Lower class models from America (aka Ford Escort ZX2, Chevrolet Cavalier Z24, Dodge Neon).

-A paint shop, allowing you to make your own skins for your garage cars.

-Aerodynamic upgrades to replace the racing modifications (that is, if they dont plan on bringing back the racing mods).

I would like to see many other things, but alot of them are impracticle (ie be able to take your F1 cars out of the track and onto the streets, then face off on the Golden Gate bridge and knock the other car into the SF bay:D:D:D)
 
definately better AI, and the bodyshop....so you can potentialy have a one off looking car?

more rain, have you seen Moto GP2 in first person view..wicked :eek:
 
We certainly need better AI. I would also like to see the return of racing modifications. I'm not too bothered about having used cars back, I felt it was too easy to get a good car straight away (eg skyline, RX-7 infiniti).

I like the idea of having a whole grid of Touring cars, although there is a lot of JGTC, I would like to see more BTCC and DTM cars. I think that having more cars in the racing would be nice too, even if there was only a couple more it would make it more competetive......
 
I think they should put in more dealers(lamborghini, ferrari, porche). Not to mention muscle cars. I would love to see old muscle cars in there. especially the chevy ones :). I wouldnt mind more upgrades either. You know, superchargers, NOS, blowers, bore, stroke, displacement, tire sizes, and bring back the body modifications from the previous versions of GT. They should also throw in the quater mile for the testing. keep in the max speed and all others, just throw in the quater to see if your car has what it takes. Maybe add the ability to have car damage, wheelies, major burnouts so you can throw smoke everywhere, and maybe stickers for the car. Ive always wanted a naked lady sticker on the side of my car :) They should definetly add more tracks and cars, so many in fact, that they have to go back to the old two cd format, one for arcade, another for simulation. Possibly throw in new paint jobs, and more body work. Anyone else have good ideas?

yeah man, those would be nice... but one thing. This is simulation, not practical joke. You cannot turbocharge a vette or viper. You would have to change the engine. If you did that, it wouldnt be much of a viper or vette anymore would it? If you want to do that, maybe they should add in engine changes. BTW, my vette and my cousins viper handle like crap on the dirt, it would be impossible to win :)

-Better AI drivers who react more like other humans

-Not only bring back race mods, but allow users to customize how the race-modified car looks: make us able to choose the color, a few different paint schemes, maybe a choice of different body shape modifiers. How cool would that be?? I think it'd add a bit more depth & personality to the game...

-Changing weather effects and or changing day time would be great as well

-How about being able to actually modify the drivetrain setup. Turn an FR TVR Griffith into a MR???
 
Just add more cars during a race please!!!!
Bring back Red rock valley, and the A-ring.
 
My three biggest wishes for GT4 are:
1. Racing Modifications / Paint Shop
2. More real race courses!
3. More specific races, or even a race generator where you can create all of the specifications, like specific tire, hp, weight, etc. Then we wouldn't have to be racing against supras and skylines all the frickin' time!

Then, it would be undeniable bliss. Almost. :D
 
umm u can too turbo the viper or vette,hennessly 800 Twin turbo,Liginfelter twin turbo vette

so go to road and track.com and look at these cars

That may have been true sometime before the 1980s;) But turbocharging is quite popular in modern American cars:)

They should make GT4 more advanced like:

1. get companeys to sponsor you
2.respray shop-change colours of cars you win if you dont like it
3.put raceing modifications back in :mad:
4.test drive cars from the show room before you buy
5.more upgrades. like bodywork kits :cool: :cool: :cool:
6.car factory/designer. like in sega GT but beter cus its Gran Turismo :D

Yeah the car factory thing in Sega Gt was cool. But instead of making up the manufacturers. You would be able to pick bodies from Real manufacturers. And then make A Mid Engined Demio with the Toyota GT1 engine in it. NOW THATS COOL! 😈
 
The car manufactuers wouldnt allow that. PD wouldnt be able to get licensing for it.
 
GT4 should be a lot more improved in new features, cars etc. if the GT games r going to stay popular. if the next GT is the same as GT3 but with a few more cars and tracks , the series will soon get old and boring :cry:

WE NEED MORE THAN THE BEST GRAPHICS EVER!!! we need things never seen in racing games before like the first ever Gran Turismo!!!

If u could put a turbo on anything, the car I have out in my driveway would do over 300 mph with turbo. But its a normal aspired engine. To put turbos on it, it has to be a tubro aspired engine. BTW, you can put turbos on those vipers and vettes, im talking about the normal kind though.

Those cars have been super and turbocharged in real life , like the Hennesy venom 850 with twin turbos... Anything is possible , it is only a matter of money... Anyway i think you shouldn't be able to do a Stage IV turbo or NA stage 3 , or the racing gears mods just by pressing the button , it should take your car away for like 50 days and with everyday passing you have to eat , drink etc. And you need another car to race in if you want to earn cash... Also there should be parts market , where you could buy/sell parts , something like you replace the exhaust and then you can sell your stock exhaust... Oh my there are endless possibillities but it's impossible to bring it all into life... :(

Whoa whoa, slow down buddy. I think one of the great things about video games is that all the boring stuff (aka waiting for mods, living the life outside of racing, etc) is cut out. I personally wouldnt spend $50 on a game to have to sit around watching TV and drinking a soda while Im watching TV drinking a soda, kinda destroys the purpose if the whole thing;)
 
I think that they need a body shop like tokyo extreme racer and then add to it with more options and then ground effects too it would make the cars look sweet o and then a drag race mode like just two cars and a quater mile and a half mile and a full mile option. that would make me happy and also dont touch any of the graphics and handling stuff its great the way it is.!!!!!!!!!!!

yea man i agree totally but there wuld just never be enough room on a disc for it all its totally possible but too much work and money.
 
a few small things for me would be inside view where you can see the dash. paint shop so you can make your own colors on your own car sponsers stickers. visual upgrades when you like get a better exhaust or brake caliper. And if it where at all posible body kist would make the game untouchable by x-bux. i like the day night ideas and the weather changeing ideas too but you know. oh the blow of valve should be louder and you should be able to turbo charge any car. and the used cars and old cars like in gt2.
