1. Zero to Hero:

When you're doing the manufacturer production races, instead of racing the fastest car the make has, you can usually take the crappiest car they have, tune it up and beat everyone. It's fun. give it a try.

2. Stupid AI:

If you're feeling mean, you always spin out the AI drivers. They're pretty stupid, too, so there's a chance you'll take out more than one driver. I did it to two drivers once, and they both took out the same driver pretty hard. It was funny.

What are your favorite Things to Do in Forza 4?

I like to make a custom lobby with all AI and make 1 or 2 drivers professional and the others average. I am not the fastest driver so it makes me feel all good inside that I can at least beat someone (waiting for KATPEELER joke).

Also like to create my own company sponsors and set up a lobby with AI v8 supercars.

I also like to make custom lobbies and create my own race series. The big advantage is that you can really long races. The regular races are far too short for my taste.

I also try to beat official laptimes from http://fastestlaps.com/. Unfortunately the laps on the Nordschleife need a 8 to 10 minutes (= 1 lap) "warm up" because of the standing start. But you need to warm up the tires anyway.

Saucy!!!

I do 3 things.

1. Buy and customize cars. Love to build classic American Muscle and Exotic Sports Cars

2. Auctions. WHOAAAAAAAAAAAA MOMMAAAAAAAA. This will give you an adrenaline rush and you'll like it

3. Lobbies. Sometimes it will be standard infection or maybe my custom Banger Racing Lobbies.

FUBAR Muscle Car:
Take any classic muscle car (preferably one you get free parts for) and throw all the power parts your heart desires on it. No motor swaps, no boost, no AWD conversions, just straight V8 with nothing to spoil the flavor. The catch? Stock brakes, suspension, weight, tire compound/width, etc. Only other upgrade I use is the sport gearbox so can adjust my rear gear (though I'll typically just use another one that was optional on that particular car). Trying to hammer out 500hp on donut tires, stop with chewing gum brakes, and corner a cruise liner with enough body roll to cause earthquakes in Japan is hilarious fun trying to keep your now belligerently overpowered bar brawler competitive with even cars that seem ridiculously below you. More comical than anything else, but if you start getting into the bigger cars like the Impala, Continental, and otherwise it gets to be pretty funny!

Don't Be That Guy:
Turn class restrictions off, now follow the rules listed above only make sure to grab an 4000lb or heavier aircraft carrier. Enter a 200PI race. Proceed to be That Guy as you use your annoyingly overpowered battering ram to get field goals with Smart Cars and Cygnets. Not exactly for the hardcore sim/realism nuts, but watching a '59 Caddy blast a VW Fox clear off the track never gets old!

I personally like to set up a private lobby, Top Gear full track, damage on simulation, collision always on, 11 AI cars and myself, mixed classes (i.e. F and D), than set up 20-25 laps and pick a car from the higher class. Now somewhere around 5th - 7th lap it starts to get interesting - you have a real cross road in the middle of the track! :) I love to shoot through the lower class' cars when doing the follow-through, trying not to get wrecked when they are doing the first corner. Or try to go into Chicago corner knowing from the map that there are cars approaching your position from follow-through doing 100MPH... Gives me a bit of a thrill.

I do a lot of tuning, leader board and private lobby racing, sometimes I will join a user created lobby or create my own. I never bother with the hoppers and the single player mode is just so boring I can't stand to do it, between the boring races, the poor AI and the delay between races I just can't take it.

Racing against real people is much better or even just racing a fast ghost is still much better than any of the single player mode events.

Rivals mode is pretty cool sometimes I just wish there were more options for car and track choices under rivals.

Would be awesome if they treated racing any leader board time as a rival race with prize money and such.

One of my favourite things to do currently in the game is tuning up various Benzes and swapping out the stock engine for the SL-65 V12, and giving them 1000+ HP and AWD. They're super-quick off the line, and I love blasting by almost any car at 260+ MPH down the Mulsanne straight in cruise lobbies. Turning and braking are relative terms, but all is forgiven when I open up the throttle down the straight.

My current favourite is my Mercedes CLK-55 AMG, which I have up around 827 on the PI scale. It's useless for competitive racing, but there's a certain gratification to driving it real fast in a straight line nevertheless, especially launching from a standstill. :D

I myself am an avid self proclaimed tuning artist! Buying cars and tuning them to said restrictions is where I get off. Big fan of the 90's sports cars and earlier, huge on Hondas as well. I'm a fan of the underdog so i frequent the older cars tuned to defeat its later model predecesores. A game like Forza 4 has no limits to a motor-tech head as myself, boredom factor: nonexistent.

1. Enjoy a good night of racing :P
2. Car Soccer - Just the lazy car wrecking version not properly.
3. Hitting AI.

But really, a good race series with clean driving is the best. Realistic ones (ie: One make, BTCC, FIAGT, Blancpain, WEC, V8S, DTM etc) and the checking back at the table to see if you can still make the title.

I started a while ago to take unmodified Cars around Silverstone and see how they compare. Which is very interresting to me, for example I have found out that the EVO VIII is quite a bit faster than the EVO IX.

I like driving to the top of Fujimi Kaido, putting my car in reverse (I guess it's the same as neutral with a manual gearbox) then soapbox/pinewood derby down to the finish line.

Every once in a while, I get a little tired of the racing.

So away I go in my favorite ride, trying out different tunes on different tracks, enjoying the replays, taking a few photos here and there...

Ahh... car porn at its best!

I have six months testing a car forza4, and write down impressions of each car in a notebook. And at the same time travel and shoot video tests)

I just drive. Preferably a Porsche, preferably on the Nordschleife. Some stock (993 GT2, 997 GT3 RS, 901 CS2), some with minor upgrades (GT3 RS), some heavily modified (930 Turbo).

That, and driving some random cars on the Nordschleife. Some stock, some not. I like to do hotlaps with cars that are either close to eachother in terms of PI or are supposed to be close in real life.

Luminis, I don't have Xbox Live, unfortunately.

How do the Porsches look, sound and handle? Did T10 nail them the way they've nailed the other european manufacturers?

The sound is great, as with most cars, in my opinion. Not 100% accurate for all cars, naturally, but still one of the best representations I've heard. As for the looks... Well, some models do show their age, as they've been brought over from FM3 - the Carrera GT, for one. Not as bad as other cars and there are no modelling issues I've noticed.

As for the handling... Well, I haven't driven a Porsche in real life, so it's hard to tell. The lift-off oversteer older Porsche are famous for is there, although not quite as extreme as it should be, from what I've heard.

Lack of experience aside, I'd say that the 997 GT3 RS is probably the best handling stock car I've ever driven in Forza. I do love most of Porsche's cars - probably my favourite manufacturer in the game. Not surprising, given that I'm a Porsche fanboy, though.

I've finally gotten around to something I've been wanting to do for some time. I'm trying to go as far as possible into the game without buying anything, I have done it before in other games but decided to do it differently in FM4.

I must get two times the dealer price in winnings for all prize cars, three times for any purchased. Any credits spent on upgrades must also be factored into the cost.

Figured it's a good way to make me explore some of the cars I never bothered with on my main profile.

So far the only car I have purchased is the Porsche 550 as the Ford Ka is boring to drive in F Class and there is a 1-make race.

One of the goofy things that I like to do is set up an online race where it's me against 11 AI drivers. I'll set 4 of us at P1 Level and the other 8 as F. Then set the race to Le Mans (without Mulsanne chicaines) and have at it for 5 laps.

Just when you're battling it out against an Audi LMP or Penske Porsche - WHAM - you've run into a wall of Gremlins, Pintos, Cortinas and Hornets. Makes for quite a surprise when approaching at 200+ MPH.

Kind of like your own track day.. only with extremely fast race cars. I love doing that.

I like taking cars and upgrading mostly all of the engine components and leaving the chassis stock. Makes for good fun considering the fact that some cars have horrible suspension.

I also like making videos

I usually hop up an old rally type car or FR and practice heel-toe, rev matching, double clutch and other techniques to initiate a slide. The tracks I prefer are Fuji, Nürb, and that little Italian track.

I tried out a car I normally don't use. 85 Mazda RX7. Did the mk3 TT RX7 motor swap and modified it to a high A class. Went out for a spin and wow... the sound of the turbo blowoff valve in this lil rocket.. amazing. Nice handler too.
This is what I do a lot, jump in cars to occasionally modify them and be surprised (or disappointed) at the outcome.

Bump.

Does anyone have any suggestions for fun stuff with 2 people online?

A friend and I have done stuff such as:

Huge power limiter, 50hp out of an RX-7

Grip reductions like it's raining.

Era driven classes like 70s NASCAR etc.

Is there anything else that would be a lot of fun?

You got Soapbox racing for instance. Both get in a NASCAR, take one of the downhill sections on Fujimi, and be sure to have clutch on. The clue is, that you are not allowed to use either throttle or brakes, and first to get to the finish line wins.

New Vs. Old. Take two cars from the same family, but different era. Tune them to match, and battle it out.

To add on the grip reduction: Icy hill climb: Get a car (4wd is VERY much an advantage), and do any uphill section on Fujimi. Grip reduction to 90%, and first up to the finish wins.

Survival race (got this idea from FailRace): Get any car from a class. Fill up lobby with AIs, and give them all hummers. Now, turn off everything in the HUD department, and set damage to simulation. The objective is to do a set amount of laps in REVERSE! the constant fear of not finishing due to the hoard of hummers barreling the other way should make for some interesting racing.

Thats about it for now I guess.
