Thinking about getting an Xbox.

If I do which Games should I get? I will get Halo 2 and KOTOR for sure. Is there any other games?

get rsc2, fable, knotor, halo 1 and 2, burnout 3, splinter cell PD, ninja gaiden for now . That should keep ya busy for a while!

All the games listed above are great. Especially BO3, that game is fun as hell.

Get PGR2 if you want to play it. It's an awesome game, but it's online value has dropped considering it's not as popular as it once was. Still a fun ass game.

Also, once you try Xbox Live(YES GET XBOX LIVE, IT'S WORTH IT) you'll never want to play PS2 Online again.

Only exception, EA on Live=Teh Suxorz. It's great to play ea games on live, but i've never had so many problems as I have had with ea on live.

An x-box would be worth it even if you bought only those few titles. I would highly recommend that if you purchase an X-box make sure you get X-box live also. If it wasnt for the excellent online play that X-box has then I probably wouldnt get the x-box.

How are they too expensive? PS2 is free online and X-box is only about $4.00 a month online.

if you say live is too expensive, you must not be able to afford game rentals.

Broadband - $40.00 a month ($480 a year) (we are struggling to pay $22.00 a month for our 56k...)
Online Game - $40.00 - $120.00

Even with a job i have far more important things to be spending my money on.

depends on the game, and the connection. overall, xbox games are better online than ps2 games. just a fact of life.

again, depends on the player connections (especially hosts). games in PGR2 ran smooth as butter for the most part. Lag only affects the lagger (usually), which is nice.

halo 2 has been amazingly lag free for me. in smaller matches. And I have a **** connection.

100% true. When it comes to online play there is no comparison. X-box live crushes PS2 online. I have only seen my x-box lag a couple times and that was in Halo 2 and I heard many people saying there was lag in Halo 2. But by now I am sure the problem is worked out. The only lag I encountered was in a couple rooms that friends hosted and more than likely they had a crappy connection and 15 other people were trying to run in the same room.
Final conclusion-X-box Live dominates over PS2 online. There are several other threads on this too.
