I will share some set-ups I have been driving with.
Those tunes are always prepared for online mode with tyre damage and with no aids except ABS=1.

Those tunes were previously available on my friends Takumisensei gaming news site www.takuminosekai.com (the best french video games / tv series / movie news place ;)) but we do not have a lot of Gran Turismo 6 activity anymore.

Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road car
600PP - Sport Soft

14689351999_35ba688dda_n.jpg

Rating: Overpowered

Tested after the 600PP race on Silverstone organised by paoloevans
The car is faster than any other at this PP level. We were happy to drive in 2'00 or 2'01 with the good road cars of the category (Aventador, McLaren MP4, Tommy Kaira ZZII, F458, etc.) but the Honda can reach 1'57...

Top speed and motor more generally is the area where other cars do (a bit) better but the NSX-R Prototype LM handles too well and it compensates by far.

Braking is excellent... at a point where it can causes some troubles in multiplayer when driving with cars that will brake significantly before when approaching any corner.

Tune

Oil Change
High RPM Turbo
Suspensions, Differential, Racing grakes, fully custom transmission, clutch (triple), Weight reduction level 3.

NSX-RLM-600PP.jpg
Tuning sheet is currently in French but it wll be modified soon.

The gearbox needs to be adapted carefully to each track due to specificity of this car. The motor works much better at high RPM so gearbox makes a lot of difference.

Silverstone under 1'58.000 in online mode:

Better in 1080p

Tested after the 600PP race on Silverstone organised by paoloevans . It is not the car I drove during the race.
The MP4-12Cis a real pleasure to drive and to tune. I really enjoy the end result :P

Fast and easy to drive (considering it is a 600+ hp car) at the same time. It will be complicated to do better with another car.

Crashes everything at 400PP.
There are already many tunes available for this car... but I like the one I propose so I decided to share it anyway.

Sometimes, it is hard to remind that the car runs confort soft tires and not Sport soft .
It is a pure pleasure on Spa.

Tuning sheets have now been converted to english :)

Something has been broken after update 1.09. The car was "top tier" before and it has now lost a big part of its mojo...
I am not sure that tuning can do anything to it. This Civic remains anyway a good all around 400PP car.

Same qualities than the generic version but customised for Spa. Very efficient.

600PP - Sport Soft

Rating: Fast

Very nteresting car to tune !
It is rarely mentionned as a good 600PP but the SP1 has some potential. I tried to correct the will of the rear wheels to exit any corner before the front ones.

With the tune I propose, the car remains harder to drive than other ones I have posted but the performance is very good. The SP1 could potentially by ranked "Top Tier" but it fails in the "safe run" area.

About Ferrari SP1...
For low driver like me its still unsafe. I try at trial mountain. Can you make it safer?
i must lower the power to 550pp to make it comfort for me.

The SP1 prefers flat tracks to ones with elevation such as Trial Mountain. I will see if I can do something but this car will remain more complex to drive than others.

On the other hand, I will post another 600pp car tonight. It is the opposite to the SP1: 700 hp and incredibly safe :)

Honda S2000 Type V '03 - Nurburgring edition
450PP - Sport Hard

Relatively easy drive.
This S2000 is tunes for the Nordschleife where it can be run in a consistent 7'40-7'45 in multiplayer.
Max speed is decent and should allow overtaking when needed.

This is a spectacular tune Kefan, I was very dominant online with this tune using Comfort soft tires. Stable fun and easy to drive. Thanks again.

Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro Chrome Line
600PP - Sport Soft

Rating: Top Tier

The safest top tier 600PP car (of course, within the list of cars I have tested).

This R8 is very surprising:
- 1400 kg but an extreme braking capability far better than the competition.
- Premium handling compared to cars that weight 200 less kilos.
- 756hp and 730 Nm but a max speed or acceleration which is the weak spot compared to cars with 100 less Hp !

Very easy to drive, no curve-exit oversteer at all, very good rotation and a lot of fun.
With the acceleration of the F458, it would annihilate everything at this PP range. As it is it is only a very very good 600pp car... which is not so bad and demonstrate a case of working PP calculation.

The car can be detuned to 550PP or even 500PP but the motor weakness is worse at those level. In my opinion, 600PP is the best environment for this Audi R8.

I discovered this car by luck.
I found the handling very good even without the fully adjustable suspensions so I decided to give it a try.
This Impreza performs extremely well, at the level of the best cars of the 500PP range. In addition, this tune is very neutral and predictable. A very good choice for long races where it will be much easier to be consistent and avoid mistakes with this car than with some stars of the category.

Ford Mustang Mach 1 '71

500PP - Sport Medium

12854638284_0051a53390_n.jpg

Rating: Medium (not far from "Fast")

Very good muscle car !
In GT6, muscle cars are not the best choice considering only PP as a criteria so an "Average" rating is already an achievement ! This Mustang is not that far from the best of the category and winning with it in multiplayer is doable if your opponents do not use the fastest 500PP cars.

With this tune, the Mach 1 is surprisingly safe and corner-exit oversteer is reduced to a minimum. I really like it ;)

Be careful, the car hates cold or dirty tires so race start and come-back from grass must be handled with care.

500PP - Sport Medium

Rating: Medium (not far from "Fast")

The F40 can seem nearly undrivable in Gran Turismo 6...
I wanted to try to make it more pleasant to use so I chose to tune it at 500PP instead of 550 or 600 as one would do naturally.

I love the result. It is a more difficult car to drive than other tunes that I propose in this garage but the F40 reactions are now at least understandable. It is a kind of vintage pleasure that will fit very well with the Zahara track  ... if it is released one day

Of course the performance per PP are not ultimate but the lap times remain very satisfactory.

Again: be careful with cold or dirty tires !

Very safe drive with this Evo !
All around car that combines good handling with competitive max speed. Breaking is a bit weak but not to the point where it is a real issue.
