WOW! I've just finished the Beetle Cup Championship race on Suzuka and won by 0,00,003 secs!:odd: My heart is thumping and i'm genuinely exhausted from the race!:ouch: And it's only one measly lap!!! Only on Gran Turismo! Anyone else had a race that has finished this close? Or closer? Or just a race that got your adrenaline flowing in such a way that your controller was launched across the room at the finish like mine?

i remember getting gold buy 0.00.001 in a license test. I didn't think i would make it on the run up to the line.

Thats really stupid:lol: As if you had learned something from your previous try, to go 0,001 second faster lol. As if you didn't deserve gold if you were 0,002 secs slower hehe.

👍 Love the liscences though!

Ya. Mission 34.....or any of the latter missions will get me going. That and the S class licenses. Only game that does it for me consistently. Soul Calibur 3 at times gets enfuriating, but that's a rare occurence.

just about every time i take my no driving aids 330 hp turbo amuse s200 street car on the nurb, i get that intense by-the-seat-of-your-pants feeling. its what keeps me coming back :D

i raced with a dodge viper '99 team oreace in the first race event of the extrem hall, and won by 3.7 sec.

the race on 6 laps in fuji, against nissan rcp92 and mercedes clk gtr...it was a 200n points race, and i was fighitng with the bently speed 8...so crazy. i was shacking after i have won that race...poooo that was hell :)

I was redoing the licences the other day and nabbed one by -0.00'000.

For the life of me I can't remember which one it was, though I'd put money on it being a Rally one...

When I upset the JGTC/Super GT cars at Tokyo R246 with my Suzuki GSX-R/4, it wasn't by much. In fact, I was probably going to get passed on the final straight to the finish, but I held on to win. I don't know the spread (even though I have a saved replay of this), but it was more like, "Damn! Just held on!"

Oh, and passing a license test with gold by 0.001 is good as by one full second. Unless you can drive the course a small percent better, go do it again. If not, you still aced that bad boy. So celebrate! 👍 You dig?

Finally, after many many many tries, Golding the Tsukuba licence test with a BMW120 (B16?) by 0.001 second. What a rush!

i let my brother race with my fully tuned cappiccino. He's losing to big cars on the straights. I caught up on the last lap but instead i was being cocky i handbrake and turn the car 180 degrees before the finishing line. Crap! That's not the finishing line! Switch to reverse and floor the pedal as the others are catching up. Cross the Line! 0.2 sec ahead :P When i look back to the reply it was retarded lol

Does this means that you've set up a new benchmark time? :sly:

i actually tied a race once in the fuji speedway race in the tuner cup. the car passed me right on one of the last turns cause i goofed up and oversteered a bit and i was heading down the stretch and i hit the nitrous and was cacthing up with the car and i thought i was gonna pass the finish line barely passing the car ahead of me but when i did pass the line it said i got 2nd place and when i checked the time it said 0.00.000. i was pretty shocked when i saw that. i wouldve thought a tie would be impossible but i guess not.

I finally decided that I NEEDED to gold the Suzuka lap test.

So two hours later. Countless times cursing at myself, going off course, barely hitting the grass, I finally got gold.

At that moment of just pure elation, I finally realized that even though my feet were completely numb (my basement is cold!) I just didn't care at all. All that mattered was that during some of the most nerveracking moments I've had in a long time, I was always on edge, never satisfied until I did the best I could.

Moment's like that, where nothing else matters, that's what makes a game great.

Hahahahahaha... I do the same exact thing when I know I have a comfortable lead, however I never forget where the finish line is..they all are pretty easy to notice, except for the one at El Capitan

When it comes to misjudging finish lines, here's a word of warning. Be careful when you do the Twin Ring Motegi full course. There are two finish lines. I can recall when I did the Super License test with the 1998 Gathers Drider Honda Civic. I thought I was going to ace the test in flying colors, but what I thought was the finish line was only Intermediate 3 of the Motegi full course! So be careful and don't get too distracted.

I know that . It's an awesome moment!!!

On one of my endurances at El Capitan with a friend, we we're sure to lose and on the last 3 laps the 1st car started to go slow.
On the last corner I passed him to win... thing is, on those last 3 laps :ill: :nervous: :dopey: !!!

In the Speedster Trophy this guy in the black car really went well but when I had just nabbed first over the line I realised I had won by half a second.

Just had another one of those GT4 moments.

Cheers

Same thing happened to me, it was in the 'Mini ONE with Pace Car' test at Tsukuba though. I've brushed up my skills with front-wheel drive cars since then, I should try to improve that time one of these days.
