Alright, like I said this has happened to me a couple times today, and I'd like to make sure that you guys know about it. When I stay on the newpost page (where you type out your message) for too long, I find that the forum has trouble hanging onto it and sends me to the "this page is down" HTML that you get on your computer when it can't find a site. Now, I know that the server is fairly new, but is this a problem that I should be concerned about? Thanks for the time.

Wow, I just thought it was me, but I get that a lot with GTP too, though not under those exact circumstances. Sometimes, it'll seem like Safari doesn't even check the page, because right when I click a link I'll get the "Cannot connect to server" message (if I hit Return again, it usually follows through). I've been thinking it was Safari's fault, but it only happens on GTP, and now that you've mentioned something similar...

I wish I could blame something in particular, but there isn't really any reason for that. I haven't experienced it, and as far as I can tell the server has been running fine.

It's still happening to me. But now when I get to the newpost.php page, it sends me to post I made before the new one (it's wierd. I'll make a post in the Rumble strip, and it'll take me back to a post I had made just prior to posting the other one in the Rumble Strip that's in the test forum. It's freakin' me out!)

Hmmm...let me get this straight...when you try to post a reply (newreply.php)...it takes you to the thread you posted previoiusly in?

Yeah. It's like the forum's having trouble recording where I am or something. It's strange. It seems to have fixed itself overnight, but I'm still getting the "there is no page here" error sometimes when I first go to newreply.php or editpost.php. It's strange...

I've been noticing some sluggishness on GTP today. Throughout much of the day, but particuarly at around 17:00 GMT.

It's also particularly affected image downloads, so perhaps it's an issue with creating multiple server connections. I probably should have checked it at the time, but I wonder if the site was being crawled.

oh:idea: thats happened to me before too!........although not recently

and wow GTP is slow for me at the moment

Yes, it is extremely slow, and I apologize. As far as I can tell, the server is running fine and there is no network congestion, therefore it's making it nearly impossible for me to diagnose the problem. My hosting company is looking into it at the moment so hopefully they'll be able to find what's wrong.
