My sources say the EU version (and that includes Australia :) ) is getting it November 18-19....so...im not eintirely sure bout that December 5 statement

Now this is pointless. How can anybody say when GT4 will be released when PD haven't yet released any information about the release date? You can't; therefore, pointless.
 
Lots of places say it's November but not a specific date.
 
I coulda sworn someone made a sticky saying that the only release date for GT4 is what PD say it is.
 
We got rid of the release date sticky, it's been consolidated.
 
December would be a retarded time of year to release a game, i know i get my Christmas shopping done by mid-november and if i want to buy someone a certain game, and its not out yet, they're not getting it.

now why would PD jeapordise (sp?) their chances of being one of the top selling Christmas season games? if anything they would push forward their development schedule to hit an early enough release date just for it
 
I think if you ask stores if they sell more in November or December, the answer would be December.

Hmm, i think that'd put you in the minority in most places. You sound organised, but you can bet the games stores sell most of their product for Christmas in December, in fact in the last week or two.

My money is on the December date, at least for big markets. Hope they do finally get a synchronised worldwide release though...

that date does not go for americans i have checked with MULTIPLE LOCAL GAMESTORES and they all have the same date: nov.15-23

Just kidding! Gt4 has been pushed back for like a year! Nothing surprises me anymore, they can push it back again it won't even surprise me!
 
If they release it in November or earlier then they get the Christmas rush, Plus those that do their christmas shopping early. Double their sales.
