This is the way to go for GT5 in 3D

So all you need is Headtracking with this 3D headset, comes with surround sound headphones and I would be set. PD just needs to refine headtracking.

Try using this with a steering wheel and shifter! You wouldn't be able to see yourself and break all your fingers lol

When i race I never look at my wheel or shifter. Just like I don't look at my brake pedal, clutch or gas pedal. You just know where it is by feel. Plus you never have to look at two sets of hands and wheels in cockpit view.

That would be true for the majority of users. I do lots of drifting too though, and my main concern would be not being able to see the wheel in my periphery vision. In situations where you need to do some speedy corrections sometimes things get violent. Misplacing a finger or two at the wrong time could be painful

Good point, that would be a problem for rally driving too I guess.

This would be awesome.
My gf always complains that I look at her the times we watch movies/series together.
This would def. solve it.
Although you would still need an external sound system if you actually want to talk

I would buy this for racing if it came at an ok price point (instead of a tv)
