Hi boosted_john! Unfortunately this isn't possible on PS3 since there are no memory cards.
Your questions not stupid though , would be nice to have this option again!
( maybe with USB sticks) ...

yep, usb sticks would do it 👍 just temporarily (or permanently if it suits you) overwrite your friends GT5P save with a 100% save from the stick

or take the game disc if he doesn't have it, install it and then overwrite the save from your usb stick

Just one problemhow can he use his cars AND his freind use their cars if he overwrites his freinds save? DUN DUN DUUUUUN! Just kidding man. I don't want you take my joke the wrong way.

This can't be done as of yet , (that I know of ). Me and a friend tried the usb's and it will only load one garage , so for now I think you are stuck racing out of only one garage , be it yours or his , This does kinda suck , hope it is something that can get fixed in another future update .

i remember seeing in another thread that you cant.. both players are stuck with the cars that are in the loaded garage.. ok my turn again.. haha since this thread is titled "this might be stupid" would it be ok if I ask a stupid question? ive seached around and found nothing about enabling the sixaxis.. does anyone know how 2? I cant find anything in game that says to enable it.. again sorry for a stupid question.. im probably blind
