This potential Fanatec customer might have to buy elswhere

Add me to the list of unhappy customers! Wheel arrived as a Christmas present and wouldn't work out of the box. It's now been 2.5 weeks since my first email (including all the information they ask for, and a video) and still no response. Useless.

The next week or so is quite busy for me but if I haven't had a favourable response by then I'll be making it my personal mission to put off as many people as I can from buying thier products.

Only 50% of how I rate a company is how good their product is, the other 50% is how they deal with customers when their products don't work. Not looking good for Fanatec at the moment but perhaps they can still salvage something....
 
The fact is I payed over 400€(long time savings earned working hard!) for the wheel , CS pedals, shifter, etc... and if something doesn't work (especially after one month of play!) they HAVE TO solve my issues with their product! It's frustrating...at the moment i hope my situation will be fixed, soon or later...
 
^^^^Absolutely agreed!!! If you look at these complaint threads there are 4 to 5 people that compile 95%+ of all of the posts complaining about the same issues which in most cases is an order that has not shipped yet, even though Fanatec has stated all along it wouldn't ship.

I am very happy with my Fanatec experience so far and that does include a service issue that was handled within one week. Every email, question, or PM has been answered within 24hrs by their support.

This is the problem with the internet, a couple of unhappy, unreasonable people can make it sound like there is a huge problem when I'm sure the reality is the vast majority of Fanatec customers are very happy.

Agreed. I am thrilled with my GT2 and Clubsport pedals. My inquiries have been promptly handled, including the cancellation of my order for the standard pedals and Rennsport wheel stand, and my request to instead order the Clubsport pedals.
 
My support request has disappeared into the void as well. Sent everything that was asked for, invoice, video etc. Only got the automated reply back. That was 9 days ago on the 5th.
 
So far they have been awesome for me. Ordered the 911 Carrera setup, paid, got the confirmation and the wheel was sent out same day. I did have an issue and my email got responded to in one business day. I wonder if location has anything to do with it....
 
Fanatec, I read that you have excellent products, something I considered buying. However there is toooooo many people unhappy with service and time framing.

I hate to say that this has lost you another customer. I planned to do a second custom cockpit and use your top shelf items.

Looks like I snag a T500 and get the G27 pedal adapter and run that wheel on my current inverted pedals cockpit.

I do hope you can resolve this major flaw. I can only imagine the amount of potential customers being lost.

Honestly, if I was the owner, I would be handling this daily, and not stop till my business was handled.

The products are top notch from all my research. Here hopes you get the service side straight.

I personally feel someone is not cut out for running a business and needs to admit that and hire a manager for this.

I know myself run the CNC shop at our business. I do better writing code and making things then dealing with people. I leave that to my father, if he was not there I would hire in a person.

I mean this with respect, hate to see anyone with a great product go under for bad business ethics.
