It's a really long story, but the bottom line is that it isn't in any of the easy places, like the cars I rode in. I was four-wheeling with a couple buddies in a Jeep (with holes in the floor) in a nice big off-road area around here. But I don't think I lost it while in the Jeep. I think I lost it while I was running through the dirt (hiding, incase that police officer that drove by wanted to chat). We didn't cover much area in the Jeep or on foot, and I remember where we were.

But still, all my stuff is gone. My driver's license, social security card, credit card and debit card are the only important things I can think of right now.

I'm going back to the trails with my friend tomorrow to search. Apparently if I don't find it I need to go through all sorts of stuff to get new everything. I'm not looking forward to that.

I lost my car keys the other day, and had quite a panic attack because I never lose things like that.


I found them under a pizza box a few hours later.
 
I lost my phone when we went shooting, once. After a meal at the Dairy Queen, I noticed the phone was missing. We first looked in the truck, but no-go.

So we drive back to the woods where we were shooting, but still no phone. Just when we decide to take off, one of my buddies find it jammed in the split-bench seat. :lol: Did you check between the seat cushions?

In case you didn't leave enough personal information in your wallet so someone can find you and give it back to you steal your identity, carrying a social security card will guaranty success.

I would suggest putting a hold on, or outright cancelling your credit card.

WTH is your Social Security Card doing in your wallet? Mine sits in a file cabinet in a basement 100 miles away from me...

Thats almost as bad as losing your Passport, seriously.

If you don't find it tomorrow, because of the SS card, you are going to have a bit more cut out for you than just canceling some credit cards...
 
It's really time that they make a gps tracking device for wallets :)
Or that you can take your sellphone and call your wallet, so that it produces sound.
 
I misplace my wallet all the time, it's why I never keep cash in it. 3 days ago I only realized I lost it when I looked for it after I filled my tank at the petrol station, now that could have been nasty had I not been with someone.

I've replaced my SS card once before when I was signing up at Sinclair Community College. They required the real card, which is ridiculous. I had it on my license but apparently that wasn't good enough. So if I have to replace it this time I've used 2 of my 3 chances. Yes, you're only allowed to replace the card three times in your entire life...

EDIT: I'm embarking on an epic quest to discover my true identity. It rained earlier. Mud, ho!

And I definitely almost tried to get on the plane coming here with my wallet still at home. Neighbors are amazing.:bowdown:
 
I lost my wallet on a golf course not too long ago. Went through all the hoops to get new cards, bought a fancy new wallet, then the next time I was at the links, I reached into my ball pocket and pulled out the damn wallet. Class A idiot, right here.

That bridge would have been an excellent place to hide from that officer were he interested in us to begin with. Apparently my wallet thought otherwise. All the cards are on the inside pockets--you can see how tattered the others are from a bout with the washing machine a while back. I was happy to find that it didn't even rain up north, because rain is bad for fake leather.

So, here's the story:

Evan took myself, Tyler, and his old beater Jeep Cherokee off-roading at this wonderland Sunday afternoon. The Cherokee was afflicted with massive rust holes in the floor, one of them as big as a speed limit sign apparently, because that's what he had covering it. Wooo, we were having great fun, and then we got stuck in mud all the way to the axles. Ahh, it wasn't that bad. After quite a few failed phone calls we ran across some guys on ATVs who knew a guy who knew a guy who ended up only charging the $11 in my wallet to pull us out, instead of the $20 we'd agreed upon. I put my wallet in my back pocket as I always do.

After that we did some more wheelin', and as we were leaving and climbing a nearly vertical hill back to the road, we saw a Highway Patrol officer slow down, and then jet off like he was looking to turn around. Like most young men doing illegal things, we ran. We ran under that bridge in the picture, and then ran back into the woods on the left of the picture. It was almost dark when we left only a few minutes later.

We made a 15 mile trek down the highway towards home when the Jeep's straight 6 moaned louder, and finally started sputtering. Right as we pulled into the gas station the engine died, starved of oil. So we called Evan's dad who came and picked us up in his explorer.

At Tyler's house, over 2 hours since we'd left, I found that my wallet wasn't, well, anywhere to be found. I searched that house, Tyler's car, my car, went to some guy's house to fetch Evan's keys and check the Cherokee, which we'd left at the station, and even "broke" into Ev's dad's Explorer to check. Who says they don't love Ford's keypad? Anyway, that only left one place--the trails--which is where we found it just chillin' on the ground.
 
Wow, if only the cops had been after you and had found your wallet. Wouldn't that have just been great?

I'm terrible with my wallet and phones, I literally pat my pockets every 5 minutes to check they're still there.
 
You know has anyone had that thing under harsh acceleration that makes things fall out of your pockets? I know I have, knowing keef he probably hasnt seeing as he drives a honda and all, owned.
 
One time I was sitting at a stop light next to a 3000GT and a nickel flew out of my pocket, busted a hole through my door and the Mitsu's door and ended up pegging the driver of the 3000 in the head. Care Flight took him to Miami Valley Hospital, but he didn't make it through the night.

Never keep your wallet in your back pocket. Easy to pick pocket out of and easy to have crap fall out of it.
