If there is already a thread to this let me know.

IMO, I'm glad they put the PP back to the way it was.

For example 505PP racing was completely changed, because of patch 2.10, there where no more LFA's, Evoras, NSX's and 458's etc. It was boring because all those cars were placed with extremely fast cars, the competition was very unfair.

What are your thoughts?

They screwed things up; then undid the screw-up. Like lots of things having to do with this game, it seemed to lack forethought.

As someone said just after the update Edit: (the 2.10 update that is), they made a major change to make certain cars more competitive, when a little adjustment would have been the right thing to do.

I guess a simpler solution would be not going back to 2.09 but to use an average pp reduction for those affect FR cars. Instead of making a 500pp FR car (in 2.09) to let's say 425pp (2.10), why not to reduce only to 465pp (in 2.11).
Now we just went back to the point where we have 2 or 3 MR cars dominating the scene at fixed pp rooms which in my opinion is a very boring scenario.

They put it back to normal. They changed the NASCARs' PP from 632 to 570 in 2.10 which was borderline ridiculous. Glad they're back to 632, they have too much power and too good steering for 570 PP.

You can always restrict drivetrain if you think MRs are too fast. In addition, there are plenty of FR cars that can be tuned to be just as fast or even faster than the best MRs. It's no big deal. Learn how to tune, learn how to drive or stfu.

I'm glad they changed it back. Well, I was actually pleading them to bring it back. Good thing they did. Now we can have close races again, and not having to deal with cars that are no match at all for you in a straight line. Also, when you boost boat cars like challengers, supra rzs or all those muscle cars and make them faster than the best handling cars in the game, it's not realistic, and it's not fun. You wouldn't buy a boat car to race. In real life they have no chance against true sport cars on any circuit. I wouldn't have minded if 2.10 made the FR cars slightly faster in a straight line, but some of them had top speeds as much as 30 mph higher. How is that fair?

Is the PP system perfect now? No. But they can't seem to figure out the perfect formula, and it is a way superior formula than what they used in 2.10. No one in their right mind should deny that.

Where are all of the people who spoke so loudly that they wanted this changed back. So many were willing to cut PD down for 2.10 adjustments. Shouldn't those same people be back in here now saying "thanks for listening, PD?"

Well, to be honest, the community has been complaining for a long time now about the PP system. They finally changed it and the community wasn't ready for it! I've read nothing but complaints about the last PP adjustment (2.10), it's only natural for PD to revert the system back to where people were familiar.

Before anyone jumps on me about "they broke it" and things like that, just realize, they tried to fix it but YOU weren't ready for it. If PP's are completely different, isn't that what some might have wanted? You should have been ready for when the finally "fixed" it, and welcome it with open arms but instead you bash it because you have to re-tune your cars? Gimme a break!

Now we're back to square one.....PD, you can't win.

It happened in the other thread. Actually I saw more people being thankful this mess is over than there were protesters before.

I'm pretty sure no one was asking for PD to break it in the first place.

I noticed pp changes on '07 Mustang GT,'08 Challenger SRT8 but not the '10 Camaro SS didn't make sense. I'm glad it's back 👍

Thanks for NOTHING PD !!!!! I'm a poor addicted GTplayer that thank you to correct what you did wrong and give us back the game the way it was without bringing anything ,any little new thing to us.

Seriously.... When i do some 🤬 , i say: sorry , my bad, it was a mistake but now it's fixed.
I don't wait a big thank you first.
But they never say they are wrong ,never say sorry to their fans. I don't know why i would be so educated with someone arrogant who treat me like a piece of 🤬

I too am glad. However, I wish it could have been after to TT event had ended. As it happened , I was unable to get my best lap time in prior to the change and now the PP "penalty" makes it impossible to get back to where I was( 2 seconds slower/lap)

Couple of thoughts...

I thought the 2.10 update was a step in the right direction and disappointed they reverted back to 2.09. However, 2.10 was extreme and more tinkering would have been better than the complete reversal. All that needed to be done was reduce the weight factor in 2.10 down by 10-15% and it would have been very close to dead even.

Why they didn't update/change/cancel the current Time Trial is a mystery. They obviously created the DTM Seasonal with the update in mind, yet did nothing for the Miata Seasonal.

Youre never going to get close to dead even and even if you did it would be too unrealistic.. Stop the nonsense. This is racing and you run what you brung.
