So the testing tonight was outstanding

For me, the biggest thing is I can now cycle my wheel on and off without crashing the game. This is great for me when as the host and my FFB goes out, I can get it back easily!

I also like being able to see the new tire graphics/info in the telemetry screen. Season 3 is going to see some changes that I have been waiting to implement.
 
SGETI and I were in the low 1:22's with some fast laps in the 1:21's. I'll post the tune he shared with me from the pCARS setup database later tonight when I get home. heading to work for a few hours

Below are the current Active Drivers with provisional entries into the Main Event. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race this week by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern on Monday 8/17/15) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

If there are less than 16 drivers confirmed, we will not need KOQ this week and will open the Lobby to all drivers @ 8:30pm Eastern. If there are more than 16 confirmed drivers that week, we will implement the original KOQ process and only the top 10 Confirmed drivers will be locked in and all other drivers will need to go through KOQ as usual.

No duplicate car numbers will be allowed so please refer to those numbers below and choose one that is not in use.
Please not that only one car from the following teams will be allowed so as to not duplicate sponsors (Convex, Bielk Racing, Apex and Shalstrone)
No changing numbers will be allowed once the season starts

Thanks Bud. I've not had any luck with other peoples' tunes yet. I feel like I figure out better settings for me on my own. I just have to continue working on finding time through my driving. I ran 30 laps yesterday with a PB of 23.3
 
I did my first run in a bone stock Ginetta last night at Donington and that little thing provides a whole load of fun. I really think that, if not a lot of mistakes happen, us, the mildly slower guys might scratch the faster guys bottoms.
 
Going to open a room for some laps at Hockinheim night race in a couple mins. Green flag for a practice race in 15 mins if anyone is interested
 
SGETI took the info fro one of the tunes on the site and added it to his own Excel SpreadSheet (which he showed)

Spent the majority of today understanding how the weather works along with the time progression. With regards to the Weather Progression, our options are somewhat limited as each slot will last about 6 mins using the weather progression x10 (wish there was a x5). This means we will repeat the first two slots towards the end of the race. Another thing I learned is the Time Progression starts going in the first session and keeps going through out the all the sessions until after the race is over. This means that if you want a race that starts in the day and transitions to night, you need to push it earlier than expected since we have practice and Q sessions that you need to take into account. You can see what I mean in the final race of the season at Dubai. The lobby setting will have the start time as 2:00pm. By the time we finish the 15 min practice/break and the 10 min qualifier the race will start at dusk and transition to night as planned. So looking forward to getting this going! Hello everyone, I finally got my T500 setup with new drivers and updates, in order for my new rim to work with the base. I won't be able to join the new season since I'll be out of town for a few days. I'll try and read as much as possible as I can. To try and figure out all the crazy buttons and setups for the game, but would like to join a practice room later on in the week if possible and get any pointers from you guys if that's ok?
I usually like to beat a game before going online, but I'm a little behind and this game is to good to not go straight online.
Hope to race with you all soon.
 
Looks like we're going to have a solid turnout tomorrow. I hope nothing comes up for me. I guess I should practice more, you guys are too quick! :)

Glad to see you once again and hope to see you on the track soon. I usually do my testing for the weeks races on Saturday and Sunday mornings. In the mean time, if you want to sign up, be sure to post the info requested in the OP and we will get you set up so you can race when you are ready.
