Season 2 - Week 3
9/1/15

Below are the current Active Drivers with provisional entries into the Main Event. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race this week by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern on Monday 8/31/15) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

If there are less than 16 drivers confirmed, we will not need KOQ this week and will open the Lobby to all drivers @ 8:30pm Eastern. If there are more than 16 confirmed drivers that week, we will implement the original KOQ process and only the top 10 Confirmed drivers will be locked in and all other drivers will need to go through KOQ as usual.

That was the first time, and hopefully last time, I have been booted from a game. I tried to rejoin but received a notice stating game full or no longer avlb. Wonder if the disconnect had anything to do with my tires. Left front gone on lap 5, right front, less than 1/4.

Even tho my left front tire was gone, I was still able to run consistent lap times. ?? Not like GT6 where if your tires get to zero you are in big big trouble.

Man, on the second race i had my front tires boiling and wearing fast. No pit strategy i had to abandon.

I will get some practice for next week, but without driving line on. lol And I won't be pitting next week either, I thought for sure I had to of broke something when I slammed the wall. But now I reread the race settings and see that damage and mechanical failure is turned off.
And that rear end comes around so easy with that car, thought I had it figured out.(NOPE)
If you guys don't mind, what gear are you in for the rolling start?

I can't get the smiley faces to go where I want them, lol though

Question on the start of the race, i also start in 2nd other wise 1st gear just rev's for a sec then goes....So i shift into 3rd and as i gain speed it seems a few guys are able to pass me as if its a 10-15 MPH difference. But the weird thing is, this is ONLY at the start of the race. If im running after that close to someone its equal down the straights.
Anyone notice this?

Agreed, I had fun. Apologies if i pushed you wide at the end schmiggz, I didn't save the replay. I'm new to this and get a little over excited. Hopefully i can improve. Good thing G shared his tire pressures, i hadn't practiced at night and was way off . The transition to night was pretty cool too and well planned.

Are formula C and Gulf the options for next season? I'm home sick and can't lay in bed all day...

So, Pcars acquired. Wheel should be in by mid next week.

I want to join but open wheel as my first online experience in pcars may be an exercise in frustration.

Also, is it possible to observe the race in pcars? If so maybe I can watch this Tuesday since my wheel won't be in yet.
