Ugh, I'm so miffed about not taking advantage of this event when I had the chance. Now I'm grinding nightly just to obtain the cars that I want. I honestly don't think I should be punished for not having enough time to amass 10,000,000 credits.

Anyone know why Polyphony insisted upon getting rid of it?
 
lol... I haven't played GT5 in months and was shocked to see the new credits for this race when I logged on today.
 
The original prize money was due to the triple prize money thing that came about when they started the seasonals (or not too long after), and was stated as a limited time thing. You'd be a fool to think it'd last forever...

Well of course I'd be a bit of a fool to believe it was going to last forever...but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.
 
Really?! Big deal. You still can get 330,000+ for this race in 3 minutes, 175,000 less. Suck it up and race.
