Threads Disapearing?

A few minutes a go, a thread was locked in the GT5 Q&A section, and now it's gone? And I've lost the posts in my count. It happened a while back to. Can you just delete threads?

Oh sorry. I thought you could just lock them. My bad

A moderator/Super moderator can "soft" delete a post/thread. This means that mods and admins can still see it, but no other members can.

Posts/threads can also be "hard" deleted which means it completely disappears and a mod wouldn't even know it had been there, but I believe that can only be done by Jordan.
