Well problem is I still havn't workd out the alternative approach needed for the GT-One. If someone just points me in the right direction *hint hint* then we could see 370+ mph. 👍

I finally got me 6 mile special Supra RZ, so now I know how much faster it is from the usual second hand one... :dopey:

Also I-Runner posting a new ZZ-II speed reminded me I was going to give you an update on a little project I've been working on.

I'm doing the uploads now... 👍
 
could someone bother himself with 300ZX? I want to get rid of that record, because that car took my time for a year before I could push it slightly over 300mph.. :mad:
 
why want to get rid of the record? i'm working hard on it, and i'm close to the barrier, but i haven't got success yet......

I'll take a look at the 300ZX later today, unless it's a second hand 6 mile special or something (I dont know offhand).

Well the ZZII is affected very heavily by the racing line you take - easily as much as 4mph!

I reckon in the video I posted above, because of the way the grip went down coming out of the corner, if 5th gear was longer I could possibly have beaten the roadcar record. :dopey:

I have searched what I want, and I haven't found anything. Can anyone give me 300mp/h settings for the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car at all please? I have gotten to 296.xxmp/h, but cannot get any further. Could anyone please help me?

xjr-9, people here are generally reluctant to give away full settings (read: give away thier secrets), but the main approach is as follows..

Softest possible suspension, low ride height at the rear, high at the front, loads of rear downforce, as little front downforce as you can get away with before doing a wheelie, no aids (traction control can be 1 for a cleaner start) and full NOS. Set auto gearing to 25, then reduce Final until you get the best balance between absolute maximum speed (on an infinitely long road) and acceleration.

Use the NOS as late in the run as possible, so that you run out just as you cross the end point.
