Nice work with the Skyline, but I'll let you know now that I already have a quicker run with the car from a few weeks back

Cheers for the props, and i'll just reiterate what Viper said; I should have known from the TommyKaira experience that MS always has something on hand

Going back to the setups though, I don't know if anyones had a look but I have most of the setups for the cars I've used for share in my signature. They get updated pretty soon after I get a faster speed (and before I post anything on here). If anyones got any suggestions or constructive criticisms, since nothing's perfect, they're more than welcome.

A quick warning though if anyones going to have a go with the setups don't start with the Skyline. In my experience it's really inconsistent and can be a real pain.

Had a great time before serious drinking, that was mostly on the ferry back :dopey:. But thanks anyway, Pyrelli, and nice work! I was wondering when you'd get to the most powerful GT-R34 ;)
(To save you some time, the M-Spec Nur is heavier)

I'm going on a couple of holidays (Hong Kong and Magaluf)
For Magaluf, read 'Shagaluf'. And you'll get worse hangovers than me :p Have fun!

MS
I wanted some of the Skyline Squadron guys to reclaim the record first.
:O
It's the thought that counts... Thanks, and sorry that we never could deliver on that one :guilty:

I'm ready to break that wall .... too :)

In the last trials i've improved the speed
with my Skyline, at the moment i haven't
any screenshot , but i hope to go faster!

Oh, wow... Pyrelli... you've finally justified my (on a whim) decision to buy a low mileage Supra. (It's been sat in my garage for months) When I load up GT I will test your settings and give you feedback if you want.

Also - Jeeeezzzz.. what a depressing thread, I actually got my beloved black TS020 over 300 for the first time the other day, 'was so proud... then I see people going over 350 in the same car. :\

Still, I was on super hards, so it was good for the like the wind race!!

Decided to have another go with the Skyline just before I leave - partly spurred on by MS and I-R's posts; I had to see if I could break into the 330s as well.

Good to know Hypno, it's a shame to have it stuck there. I hope you find the setups productive, and any feedback is more than welcome. If you've got any questions I'll try and answer them as soon as I get back.

Last holiday out with all the lads before uni and that's exactly what we were thinking and yea will do :sly:

Congrats Pyrelli 👍 👍 Good job ..

EDIT... 333.25 ...(same car of Pyrelli )

and now ... some laps around the ring ..

ciao

I've heard from many how difficult it is to improve on the Vipers, Sa!!yz~Rage, so well done :)

Good Lord, there's some seriously fast Skylines knocking around these days... :D

Great work, Pyrelli and I-Runner! Now MS surely has a reason to break out his GT-R :p 👍

I'm not certain, but I don't think I do. I'm back with my main computer later today, so I'll see exactly what speed I had in storage then.

Oh, and you forgot to add Pyrelli to the recent records. 👍

Enjoy the holiday. Just out of interest, what/where are you going to study? :)

there you go
still increasing my speed
currently at 317.37mph in my Nissan R92CP Race car
I know it may be hard to see because the quality is low
will you accept that for now until i further increase my speed?

I did get to 360 MPH with the Toyota GT1. I don't have video proof, not even an image... But instead I'll post my settings.

R5 Tires
Full power NOS

Front suspension-
Spring rate - 20.00
Ride Height - MAX
Shock Bound - MAX
Shock Rebound - MAX
Stabilizers - MIN

Rear suspension-
Spring rate - 4.0
Ride Height - MIN
Shock Bound - MIN
Shock Rebound - MIN
Stabilizers - MIN

Downforce-
Front - 38
Rear - 88

Transmission -
5th gear is out of the screen and 4th is about halfway off the screen (you might have to use the tranny trick for this one)

Driving- There's s much understeer you'll hit the wall a tad after the turn, so stay on the inside. Get the car completely straight because it'll do a wheelie and you won't be able to steer... I know this is "breaking the rules" a bit, but that means there's no need for proof.

If someone improves on these settings, please post them, because I got a need for speed :D

Oh yes, the this works on all the pro race cars, like the Minolta and the R92CP, and not to mention the R8 and the Bentley.

EDIT: Just upped the speed to 362.74 MPH.

That's an evil photo, the razgriz, but it's just about legible. Nice improvement 👍

2. At no point in your run must any of the car's wheels leave the ground. At no point in your run must your car make contact with any barrier, visible or invisible.
Might want to read those rules sometime...

...where am I sitting at on that leaderboard for now?
just hit 340.22 in my toyota gt-1
Instead of triple posting, in the future please just edit your existing post if you have extra comments or information to add. That helps to keep things nice and tidy in the thread, which is kind of necessary when it has over 6000 replies. :)

Once verified, your 340.22mph run would currently put you equal 87th on the leaderboard, sharing the position with GT_Jim (also in the Toyota GT-One TS020). Well done! 👍

I'm not certain, but I don't think I do. I'm back with my main computer later today, so I'll see exactly what speed I had in storage then.
I was right about not needing to make a new run in the Skyline above what I already had in reserve. It's just as well really, as I accidentally left my memory card at my friends place.

Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nur (R34) '02 @ 334.28mph [screen]

I'll probably try and bump that speed up a little more once I have my memory card again. :nervous:

I posted this attached image with it
I saw the attachment and it looks fine to me, but I'm not the person who decides if a run is legitimate or not. For that honour you'll need to wait for Dark Elite. Until DE makes the call, you're not officially on the leaderboard. I guess I should have made it clearer in my post as to what I meant by 'once verified'. 👍

MS, you should stop making me sound like the overlord of this thread... :O
Oh, carry on if you must :p

Anyway, nice work getting further on up the Leaderboard, the razgriz, keep on going - but take note of MS's comments about your posting. Cheers.

MS, you were lucky there, weren't you - it's close :p
But who knows what you'll pull out of the Skyline when someone overtakes you again.. Good job! 👍

Hey, I got 342.47mph in my Minolta 88C-V.Unfortunately I don't Have any proof :( . I'm also in the works of getting the Viper GTS '99 over 300, but its being real stubborn (I can only get it to 270).However I'm SO close to breaking 300mph in the VW"Nardo" V-12. I got 291mph out of it.
