Yes welcome the the 300mph club. I will admit you do need a picture with a camera of the screen with your speed, so you might have to repeat your run. Also refer to the first post if you have any further questions.
Okay, you beat me to the double post thing;)

Oh, on your Toyota GT-One speed, did you by chance use the wheelie, where the front starts to lift up and come back down? You cannot use that here, but if you want to post it anyway, there is a forum that allows anything, I just have to find it...
I will get back to you on that.

Yay done it! sorry its in kms but its easyto convert to mph. Its 332.23Mph! I thought 300mph is easy but doing it without the wheele gitch dam its hard! best I could get basically the car is as soft as it could get with all weight on the nose and no downforce. I did this within the first hour of reading this session but I been working on a project for months to get the mclaren into the 300mph club i am 5mph off 300 and I cant push it anyfurther wich sucks. Its kinda a feat cuz Its a naturaly aspirated dog and you can only pump 50 units of nos into it unlike race cars wich have 70 if i could get 70 it would do it easily. Meh I dont care. Shame the dual note cant :(

No problem, Crimson - I don't mind when you've got a good reason for posting up while I'm away, and thanks for telling me. Nice work, too :)

Welcome to the Club, Glanza-V.

Sometimes I wonder if I write things here for the sake of it...

-1.1 All speeds must be proven by photograph of the Session Record screen showing your maximum speed in miles per hour to go onto the Leaderboard.

sorry about this second post but i cant delete it. when i quick replyed the last post it carried on loading for about 10mins so i tried again and it was here twice :dunce:

After sitting down with GT4 after lord knows how long, I actually have a record beating speed. Or at least what looks to be one. I'll post it up tommorow after I wake up.

It also comes with a halfway decent CLK-GTR speed (I beat MasterStorm at least).

Good to see you back, Toronado - and I look forward to your new speeds! Your version of 'halfway decent' usually comes close to a record too, so I expect two before long ;)

EDIT - In other news, I've figured out what caused an odd formatting glitch on the scrolling marquees, and FreeWebs is finally playing ball with my ISP again - so, the main Leaderboard is now up-to-date :)

Haven't done a speed in a while so took a go with the Mclaren

BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car - 309.07mph

The car turned out to be more difficult to tune than I thought it would be, taking nearly an hour to get up to my final speed from 308.5x - not fun :ouch:

Also nice work from Toronado and Glanza, congrats to you both on your speeds 👍

First post with a moderately good +300mph speed :)

Yes, I signed up to GTplanet just to post this... well I'm a gear head at heart so naturally this club immediately interested me.

329.37 mph in the Minolta 88C-V gets me about a 147th ranking all told, and I get to be in the club :)

Now to read the thread and learn maybe how people are getting those WACKED speeds :D

Picture deleted, it was too big and I had a new one anyway (at a more appropriate size)

337.79 mph :D

I promptly spent a while driving a 198 hp Corvette convertible around Super Speedway, and Nurburgring, for fun :)

I'm going to accumulate 'movie cars' to fling around the ring. French Connection, Bullitt, as close as I can get to the Bluesmobile. After wrestling with the super high powered blink-and-you're-dead cars, the older screechier ones are such fun... there should be 'Bluesmobile Races'.

Anyway- 337 mph is about as much as I'm likely to get out of the Minolta ;) once in 2005 that would have blown people's minds...

Aye, well, we're older and wiser now ;)
Nice work, and welcome to the Club!
By the way, these forums generally frown up double-posting - you've got an Edit button in the bottom right of all of your posts, make use of that instead. We don't really need a higher post count here :p

Good job, Pyrelli, and, when you're that close to the record, surely you can't stop now? ;)

Seems I'm not the only one who forgot about the 300mph Club's second birthday!
Actually, I might have been away at the time, so I had an excuse ;)

I'm not going to make a speech like I seem to remember doing last time, especially not as I've missed the date by ten days :O, but I will thank you all again, and... Let's keep it going!

Nice work, GT_KING. :)
