I've been trying to get the McLaren on the 300+ board...not there yet 288.98 so far, and I'm by no means a pro at this yet, so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the car in terms of this challenge?

What, the F1 GTR? It can do it, but downforce settings adjustment is the trickiest thing. You can't max it out like other (better) race cars, so you have to play with the front end in conjunction with the rear. It can do it by about 8 MPH (I should have a pic posted up later, I did this last night).
If you mean the SLR, than no, I'm sorry, and you should demand your money back from Mercedes Benz for making a car that isn't any faster than the SL65 to be 3X as much as said SL65.

Also, DE, I got a very high Panoz speed, which I will put up in addition to the McLaren F1 GTR speed later.

The GTR Race Car? Er, yeah, I've got experience I did it! It's not too easy, but it's certainly not the hardest of them. 305mph capability, I'd say. The McMerc SLR... Don't go there. I'm with Toronado on that one.

what is the fastest C9 so far? 300.6?

I was trying out some R34 Skylines, but again without success. I think the aerodynamics just don't allow it. However, I have one last R34 that might be capable. That can wait, though.
My next project is currently at 286mph and I think I've ran out of settings. I want to get 290, though, and I think it's doable
Even if it fails, which I think it might, then I have a backup plan along the same lines

How'd you go that fast?

I tried today with my Blacked-out R92CP and the fastest it would go was 311mph. Maybe it has something to do with it being used....

I'm sorry moderators of the 300mph club I haven't been able to take photos because when I charged up my battery and inserted into my digicam, it refused to turn on! I'm not sure why, but now I'm charging my backup camera's battery and it will turn on for sure, so I'll try to post up a photo of my record tomorrow. Sorry for the wait...

I think I may have Knee problems( maybe due to the fact that I crashed my bike and landed on my knee

Just to answer your questions on the MAX replay files.

The AR Max converts them to the .MAX file when you take them off the memory cards to the memory stick.

Its is a compressed file used for transfer.

All you have to do now is to stick them back on to the memory stick, and then uncompress them back to the memory card and hey presto. A replay file.

I could check this out for you D.E. then try and make a video for you (just this once)??

But as you said we don't do Action replay files.

My Mazda 787B just WONT GO OVER THE 292 MPH
One question huh, is lowering everything as much as possible, and then stiffening everything up max the best way to go?
I set chamber to 0, toe to 0, dampers max, stabilizers max.
I set LSD accel to 60 and also Initial to 60, is this good.
I set downforce to it's minimum, is that good?
Tyres are Super Soft...

Nitrous at 50 to power, and it still is too much, I want even more power

My gears have been set up that they will probably peak at 300MPH...but I cant get there...

How'd you go that fast?

I tried today with my Blacked-out R92CP and the fastest it would go was 311mph. Maybe it has something to do with it being used....

With third gear running to a trickle over 410 km/h.

And the CP I used was the prize car from the Fuji 1000km (1215bhp max, vs 1155 for the BB)

I have no way of verifying the speed (no MAX, digi cam or anything) for the leaderboard though, so you'll just have to take my word on it.

Nope. The LSD, to the best of my knowledge, is useless for this. The 787B is perfectly capable (I still maintain bottom spot with mine ). From your settings, I would recommend resetting the camber, dampers and stabilisers to stock, adding ten clicks of rear downforce, and re-fitting R3 tyres. Let me know 👍

Sorry to spoil it. But no GT4 doesn't follow the Laws of Physics.

I'm quite big on physics (well, I like to think so ) and the game does baffle me alot of the time with settings for the fastest laps and so.

Sometimes it is the total opposites of what I would expect to happen

Doesn´t the BB have about 100 hp more than the regular R92CP (I think it was Toronado who brought that up)? If so, it should be more than capable of over 350, maybe even 360. I´ve run 352 with the regular one, but I haven´t tried the BB, so maybe it´s time for that.

I think a 300mph 3000GT has been seen, but never fully proven... Anyone else remember that?

I think I remember that as well Team666, but the BlackBeauty isn't as fast as the new version anyway. It'll probably do 340mph in BlackBeauty form, but not much more. Neither of them are 360mph material, at least I wouldn't say so...

DE, I think that there was a picture about it. if I recall right, it did something like 315mph or so. insane speed from that car.. which proves that IT is the fastest roadgoing mass production model instead of Supra, me thinks..

number 56, Toronado, Mitsubishi 3000GT, 318.20mph, 13/11/05. and it was from the 300mph club memberboard, so it's official. 318 mph.. wow. faster than lotus Esprit V8 turbo! and the rest above are pure racecars..

Haha, thanks =) yeah the sun was really strong when I took the photo...oh well. And I've heard of 3000GTs going above 300mph, its on the leaderboard.

Yeah, it is kinda strange, because when I set the record and was about to take the photo, the battery was dead on both of them; so I recharged my good camera's battery and took the photo.

Is both the R92CP and the Minolta going up, or only the Minolta?

And btw I got a fully colored version of the R92CP so I may break that record (just maybe) because I did the original one with the blacked-out R92CP which produces...something like...50-100hp less?

Hi everyone, I got some chance playing PS2, and I use it fully for 300mph quest .
R92CP color 1152 hp?, 340.70.


Team666, I can't get access to your setting (forgot to take it with me too) when I test this car, so I can't test the gear. But It seems lower final drive do behave like lighter flywheel, more spin at start. I did the test using wheelie trick with 12/12 spring and 70 nitro (maybe it's too short, I run out NOS before finish ).
