Suspension has a lot to do with wheelies, as well as downforce.

Set the downforce 0 at front and full at rear and you're halfway through.

Ask DE about it more, because I try to prevent wheelies, not cause them :lol:

I think I can get the first place because the car is not fully exploited yet, so I am sure you all can beat my time easily if you try slightly harder :). And since many people can't proof using video I consider myself lucky I can get the first position :D.

If Toronado decide to beat my Sauber C9 I may got 4 consecutive position :D. If he doesn't my Sauber C9 is fastest :D. I am happy either way :D.

This car I did not like that much for top speed. This and the espeante GT1 are some of the more difficult cars to tune. The TVR lacks the high end power than all of the turbo charged cars. However, you can put a turbo on it, but you dont get the hp you need to get 300. Belive me I tried both...

Try the opposite, as GT4_rule says. Also in agreement with GT4_rule, suspension plays just as big a part. I try to prevent them just as much as you guys, so don't ask me for advice on causing wheelies! :p

You definitely weren't the last one with two spots, under Sucahyo's guidance I found about five others :lol:

I like to see a little humility for once, T4-GTR :) the R8 battle is a pretty hot contest, so don't expect to get up to the top too easily - I can't keep up myself! Still trying though :sly:

If there's a lot of demand for me to get a new R92CP I suppose I could, :p but the 1000km race is a bit much for just one speed, sorry :guilty:

I got 304.7mph with the Gt one race car. (black beautie)

Nitrous, extended gears(auto-change at 23, pushed 4,5,and 6th a bit farther apart)

I have new speed update:
Bentley speed 8 = 349.45mph, R92CP = 349.69, R89C=341.91.
Speed 8 and R92CP actually able to exceed 350mph, but since the TV card is currently unavailable, I limit both car speed to bellow 350mph.


It seems my TVR is already use supercharger so 304mph is the max that I can right now :).
 
Well, I can't make the video at that moment.
I also think achieving top speed which other people have difficulty proofing it is seem a bit unfair. So I think I will try cars that don't capable of 350mph next.

Now if DE were to get amax drive, he could view all of the replays he wanted whenever he wanted. Go on to ebay and search for one that is cheap and just buy it:crazy:

But he´s right; I´ve taken the Bentley to over 355, and the R92CP to over 357, so since I cannot post a video, I did what Suchayo just did. Limited runs! Seems I have to do better limited runs though, and get closer to 350...:dopey: Or buy a digicam!

Unfortunately, you do need to provide a photo of your speed to get onto the leaderboard, sorry.

By the way, I'm on my new, supercool desktop! So I can be more consistent and stable with the updates :rolleyes:

ah.. Vector.. first american attempt on supercar market. and ended like most american dreams.. in debts.:guilty: W8 was a blast to drive though. I could coax it near 400 km/h(250ish mph). and I just loved it when it was BLACK.. :drool:
 
Anyone tried the "Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C2) Race Car 1963"? Worked with it a little the other day after winning it and managed to get in the 285mph range. I don't know if it's got any more in it but it has definite potential. Can't buy a wing for it but interestingly, it has adjustable downforce front and rear even without any wing!
 
I've tried it. and indeed, it has potential, especially if you watch the torque figures.. but I'm afraid that they're bit too low in the rev range.

Have you tried the NEW vette racer? That seems more likely to go to 300 than the older one (weight comes to mind):crazy:

I´ve done extensive testing with both these cars, and come to the conclusion that neither is capable. Surprisingly though, I got closer with the old Vette (294 vs. 290, IIRC)!
