I rather think it as GT Police Car than pace car.. becauswe it's so slow when stock ,and damn quick when done right. what a shame that it can't have a wing.. it would put my Grim R34per into shame.

I-Runner
the S-Tune Nismo R32 battle between me and Leo (at beginning I-R vs DE) ..last year
Myself
nobody else has tried a Nissan-spec R32
Yes, I know, but that was a NisMo car :p

Anyway, nice work, revenga! I wonder what MS will have to say to that... ;)

Oh, and this car - if I remember correctly - holds its own main record entry, so you're in the Recent Records section for once  👍

Nice work on all your recent runs revenga, especially the ZZII. I had a sneaking suspision that you might be a 4WD expert; I remember trawling through I-R's homepage to have a look at the speeds people were getting there, all I can say is very impressive 👍

Congrats once again with all your speeds!

Pyrelli

Edit: I can't wait to get back onto the old PS2, from the looks of things I need to pull an extra 25-30mph out of my ZZII to catch up :scared:

In his quest for speed, nothing was going to stop him. Nothing...

"Right now at this very moment, computers tell us The Stig Master Storm is having a wee in the car."

I had a little test with the Tommy Kaira, just to see what I could get out of her given that I hadn't done any tuning for a while. Unfortunately, someone seemed to have stolen my supply of nitrous bottles for it... :guilty:

Like that was going to stop me!

Tommy Kaira ZZ-II '00 @ 330.62mph (non-nitrous) [video]

To celebrate the speeds achieved, I was allowed to take another victory lap in the circuit pace car. Unfortunately for the track staff, I pulled away before they had a chance to tell me I wasn't allowed to tune it... :nervous:

Gran Turismo Skyline GT-R (PC) '01 @ 301.09mph [video]

Sorry that the videos are not up to my usual quality; my capture card is still out of action for the near-future. These should still be sufficient quality for verification though, as being both 4WD cars, wheelie-ing them would be slower anyway. 👍

revenga, way to go (but not unexpected) 👍

MS
, nice job 👍

I may have a response to this, but first I need a new TS020, my current one has a few thousand miles on it and is down on power.

2078TM, your record (As well as others') in the 787B is infuriating.

I'm brick walled at 329. Unfortunately, my camera went MIA, so no proof.. But I'm gonna put Vince in the 300 club.

Nice work, guys - I don't see the need to wait for these speeds now, from two tuners who have proven their worth, and in 4WD cars, so up they go :)

Particular congratulations to MS for taking a big Hall of Fame record, as well as another one 👍

Congrats MS on the NN run with the ZZII!

Struck me to think that at some point we've all struggled to get that sort of speed even with nitrous :dunce:

Out of interest did you have to alter much to get that speed..?

Pyrelli

.. I think .. he's changed the gear setting only!

Yep, I assumed that would be the case but knowing MS he probably couldn't help not messing with something else

I meant it as a light question not really asking for what he did, more of a general yes/no as to whether it was quite an effort.

Until now i've never Tried the run without NOS ...

So i gave only an ipotetical.. answer :O

OK 👍

I changed 6th gear, front downforce and ballast weight. Only the change to 6th would have made any significant difference though.

For what it's worth, I think I-Runner is probably running a slightly better balance of ride height, downforce and ballast than me at the moment, though without seeing the setting I wouldn't know for sure. 👍

.. :O ..

👍 gimme 20 minutes .. i'll try a pair of run without NOS ..

I-R

EDIT
FIRST ..Run .. 518.3 km/h without modifications (Unofficial speeds in km/h)

EDIT 2
SECOND run.. 528 km/h ..NO modifications ... :nervous:

EDIT 3
THIRD run .. 511 km/h ..NO modifications ... bad launch , the gear shift was completely wrong

I stop here, in this moment my DVD Recorder is "out of service" (for a pair of days)
But i'm satisfied .. 328mph

@ MS .. .. 👍

Hey Dark, would it make sense to add another list to the leaderboard for the "Almost There!" cars that would include cars that have reached above 280 or 290, but not quite 300. People trying to make the 300 mark could then use this list to see how their efforts to tune a particular car that is not already in the 300mph club - compares to the tuning efforts of others for that same car. It might also give some of the better tuners some ideas for what other cars might be able to make the 300mph mark that they may not already be aware of.

Hmm, i haven't visited here for a while. Nice to see the club's still going. :)
Hey, it's certainly been a long time!
Good to see you're still around here :) any speeds from you? :p

It's been suggested, but the short answer is no. The longer answer is that the regulars around here know what cars are 'almost there', and anyone coming in and asking can find out about them - along with other details, pointers and tips - from the longer-standing members. This also promotes discussion, which gives us more ideas. The better tuners have already attacked a hell of a lot of cars, and most know which might be capable, and which are annoyingly close but probably not capable (the Saleen S7 comes to mind here).
It's far from the worst idea we've had, though :)

Not at the moment, i have to get another new copy of GT4. :banghead:

Although when i do get new speeds, i can easily get a proof photo with my phone now. :)

now I've finished the competition on GTExD ....

so I will try NN tommy ZZ :)

for NN runs I must to post the video ??

You have to post the proof about your NN run!

if you make the new record the video is tassative ;)

Today in my office the ADSL was down and now i have a
