Would it be possible for any GT4:P owner, who can get really good quaility pictures of games, to take three screenshots so i can put them on my website?

If possible i'd like the shots taken on a 'scenic' part of the Italian track with a Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R32) (any colour so long as it's black ;)).

First screenshot in first person view,
Second screenshot in the behind the car view,
And third screenshot in the new above/behind car view.

I know it sounds like a lot of work but i'll put your name beside the pictures on the site! You'll be world famous!! :D

Seriously though it would be uber-awesome if someone could do this for me. I just want to show site visitors the car views available in the game.

I will gladly do it for you if you can explain to me how to do it. Then you'd be doing me a favor as well.:)

I would be recording it off the PS2 with my digital camcorder, then firewire it into my capture program at full quality, then how do I get it on this site?

I got a capture card on my computer, give me a few minutes and I'll post them in this thread.

*edit* Well, I remember the file size is 100k max so I can't put all 3 of them in one picture. I'll just do thumbnails and then you can tell me what one you like the best..

*2nd edit* wait a minute, you want a scenic view as I'm playing the game? The only good "scenic" camera's are when you watch it in the replay... Explain more what you want...

Well basicly just stopped somewhere (not in replay view) in front of a wall overlooking the valley thing below or something? Just anything really so long as it's not a bare wall. ;)

I'd do it myself but there's no way on this planet that i'd get the chance to play this game. :(

Well, since most of the area's have walls, you really can't get a "scenic" view unless you are in the farthest 3rd person view...

I'll try some out and let me know what you think...

Well even somewhere like where the R33 is in the picture will do.
I should have said high walls/buildings instead of just walls. :O

Anywho, thanks for offering to do this. :)

Woohoo! Thank you very much matey. :)

If you have done it too Bill, then just post the pics anyway seen as the R32 GT-R is such an awesome car. ;) :)

Well if you had the image on your computer then all you need to do is click the Reply button here and upload the picture as an attachment.

Is that what you wanted help with?

I don't suppose someone could take pictures of each track in the track selection screen? *hides*

They look even nicer on my website (reduced in size to save the page proportions). :)

I gotta post them all in seperate posts but here we go. I forgot to take them in widescreen too :-/

You know, I never noticed it before - but in Bill's last shot, there is a seam in the center of the car.

I recently modeled an R33 in Maya using polys (built half the shell and mirrored the geometry) and though the normals of the hood and roof are set softly, I still kept getting a harsh line straight down the center that was noticable when you'd bump up the reflectivity - just like in that screenshot.

I guess PD couldn't get over that as well. I guess I don't feel too bad now. But if they fix it for release, I'm back to square one.

Um Bill. What is the deal with that 'roof' cam? Is that a fourth selectable view for driving in or something?

I really lke the pics of the car facing towards the camera. :) Looks so damn sexy. ;) :D

They are the replay camera positions.

Oh. I was getting my hopes a little bit up for a second then.

One of the easy sign to tell a shot from replay than gameplay is the "Gran Turismo 4 Prologue" logo at the lower right.
