Thrustmaster options button problem

I have a couple of mates that I race online with and they are both having an issue with their Thrustmaster wheels where mid race the option menu will appear. I know one guy has a T300, I'm not 100% sure what the other one is but its definitely a Thrustmaster. I keep telling them they are hitting the button by accident but they are sure this is not the case.
Is this a known issue?

Ahh man!! I did a search and did nt find that!! Thanks for pointing it out though.
