Found a pic of the upcoming Ferrari 488 challenge edition TS-PC racer. It looks full size like the Sparco 383, but can’t confirm. Layout and buttons similar to the Sparco. Also 2 metallooking (plastic or aluminum?) rotary encoders and even more interesting there are what looks like Revlights! This one looks even better then the 599 XX Evo! Thrustmaster is upping their game.

It’s official! To commemorate ferrari’s 70th anniversary the Ferrari 250GTO rim will be available from December 20. Personally not for me at € 399,- waaay too expensive! But still looks beautiful! Especially for those who like driving classic cars! It’s a limited edition so might be an investment that will go up in value in time!

The question is the the 488 will be only sell in bundle with the TS or will be an add on? Like the Open Wheel that is not sold it separately and it is a pity.

PRESS RELEASE

12.07.2017

Rennes, December 7, 2017 — In this festive season, with Ferrari celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and the holidays fast approaching, Thrustmaster is looking forward to helping PS4™ gamers (who tend to use gamepads, just like the rest of those who will soon be discovering this system) experience new gaming sensations by using a racing wheel: the perfect accessory with which to take the plunge into the world of racing games, for intuitive and highly-effective gameplay.

A product designed for fun
Above all, the T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition has been crafted with fun in mind: not only is it a thrill to use for those new to racing wheels, but it’s also a real pleasure to give a loved one the gift of an 8:10 scale replica (at 11 inches/28 cm in diameter) of the wheel found on one of the legendary Italian sports car manufacturer’s latest models – the Ferrari 488 GTB!
The wheel’s PS4™ compatibility is clear even from a first glance, with its “PS”, “SHARE” and “OPTIONS” buttons: these are reassuring for users, as they are so closely associated with this particular game console, and make it easy to navigate both through the PS4™ system itself, as well as through in-game menus. With the goals of easy handling and immersion in mind, the wheel is one of the most versatile on the market thanks to its shape – and very comfortable to use, with its textured rubber grips. The T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition lets users really get the most out of all types of racing games, and enjoy comfortably playing them for hours on end: it’s perfect for GT racing, as well as F1, Rally, arcade-style, and more. The wheel is plug and play and optimized for all PS4™ games compatible with racing wheels, and is ready to take its place in the starting grid.

Helping users through the learning curve
The T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition has many great features designed to not only let gamers start racing right away, in the most natural way possible, but also to further hone their skills and take them to the next level – and you can be sure that Thrustmaster is right there to help guide budding virtual race car drivers through the learning curve. The wheel features 11 action buttons, a D-pad, 2 wheel-mounted sequential paddle shifters (crafted of metal, and 2.8 inches/7 cm tall), a large pedal set with adjustable inclination and a wide foot-rest, plus a central clamping system with wide jaws for optimal stability. In addition to all of this on-board equipment, on a technical level the wheel provides realistic linear resistance with automatic re-centering (via the exclusive Thrustmaster Bungee Cord system) for a lifelike racing experience.
• The T80 Ferrari 488 GTB Edition will be available this December, at a suggested retail price of £99.99/$99.99/109,99 € (taxes included).

Wow, fancy excluding xbox from the led shifter, anybody know why? :Edit- The one x doesn’t support Bluetooth. I guess we will have to wait for an add on rim with led lights embedded.

Yes. I am not that crazy to buy a TS-PC Racer for the rim. Seems pretty stupid from Thrustmaster that they don't make that rim an add on. After all it is the only well made F1 style rim that they have.
How did you manage to purchase one? I’ve been looking on eBay and local “craigs list”, but can’t find any...

I saw that a while ago, bet its not for consoles though, if it is I can’t see how it can be used with the Tx wheel. Probably usb staight into console if anything.

It's for the ps4 Bluetooth I belief

Yep it’s ps4 compatible via Bluetooth. Here is a link to the manual. A lot of functionality.
