Thundar needs your help!

The Eighth Annual Capital One Mascot challenge is currently underway and Thundar from NDSU is, at least at present, in the lead. We'd like to keep him there. That's where you come in. I'd you'd be so kind, go to capitalonebowl.com and vote for Thundar. The other mascot you decide to vote for is irrelevant.

If you have any ties to the other mascots (currently attending said college, alumni, etc.), by all means vote for them. If not, help out Thundar.

Also, this time around there is no need to go hunting down proxy servers. All that needs to be done is clear cookies/history/blah, blah, blah and re-vote.

TB, what the hell happened to NDSU's football team this year? They kicked ass last season, now they're playing like Kansas.


EDIT: I did vote for him several times last month.

Only reason I can think of is they changed conferences.

Thanks for the votes, Studentdriver! As for when the voting ends, all I can find is this:
Visitors may cast one vote per day during the Playoffs casting one vote for each of the two competitions in round one, one vote for each of the two competitions in round two and one vote in the championship matchup. You must cast a vote for all pairings on any day that you cast a vote. The two winning mascots in round two will advance to the Final Match, which will be determined solely by online voting over the Final Match week voting period starting December 8, 2008 at 9:00 am and ending December 15, 2008 at 8:59 am. The mascot with the most votes will be the Capital One National Mascot of the Year. The winning mascot will be announced during the 2009 Capital One Bowl on January 1, 2009 and will be named The Capital One National Mascot of the Year.

which really doesn't tell you anything. It's obvious that this round will end before Dec. 8 at 9am, but i have no idea exactly when.

At present tally, Thundar is up by around 250. Keep those votes coming, people! :)👍
 
Well I guess that means that the semifinal round ends right before then.

Cocky is still trailing by about 400 votes. He'll appreciate all the help he can get!
 
Why isn't my Sparty included this year? C'mon! We managed to be better than U of M for the first time in years!

Looks like Thundar made it into the Finals! Thanks again for all those that have voted so far. The voting for the finals lasts until Dec. 15, so for one last week, vote, vote, vote!
