Awesome, man i wish we had a few more thunderstorms down here like that.

I have always liked sleeding during lightning and thunder storms. Good job catching it with a video. Made me sleepy just watching it. The one you recorded was very mild compared to the ones we get.

No playing golf either.

Damn. I'm going to have to cancel my plans to spend the weekend standing on top of Canary Wharf in a copper bathtub full of salty water waving an umbrella shouting "Bring it on Universe, you big, mostly empty wuss!".

*pencils in 1st July as alternate*

THE best plans I have EVER heard. It sucks you have to cancel them.

Coincedently, us north Texans got a big thunder storm hit last night.

Our neighbor's flag pole was struct by lightning around 3:30AM.

We had a pretty impressive thunderstorm when I was at my bach last week, we are on a pennisula and we could see the lightning strike in the mainland then work it's way out to sea.

Sucks that we don't get them often here, I love falling asleep to thunderstorms.

Wow. Any chance your neighbor saved any electricity so that they dont have to pay bills?

Us Vancouverites never get thunderstorms - I dont recall having one for the past year or two. Maybe storms, but not thunderstorms...I miss 'em.

I think we are about to get another storm as I can hear thunder every so often.

But as if my neighbor's need it. They got so much money crammed up their buttocks, they could practically GIVE electricity to the lightning bolts and still be rich.

How often do you get Lightning Storms? Those are awesome and only sometimes do you hear thunder. We haven't had those for a long time. I remember sitting out front one night years ago with my sister watching them.

Awww, how romantic....jk jk :p

We never get thunderstorms - maybe its due to the geography. Actually, we never get any extreme weathers - or its very rare. We only had:

- two snowfalls (as if 30cm is anything)
- 5 somewhat windstorms
- 1 hailstorm (as if 2mm hail will knock me senseless )

As for your neighbor - tell them to mail me a cheque for $500,000 to fund my alcohol research like this guy  :

I was actually out driving in it the other night. On the motorway into Glasgow it started to get quite bad. Very heavy rainfall and lots of thunder & lightning. We went to the union to play pool but got thrown out after about an hour, due to the fact there was water pouring into the pool hall through the roof. Then on the motorway home it was even heavier rain than before. The road back to my house was pretty treacherous too, I spent most of it south of 30mph for fear of aquaplaning. There are a few hills and camber changes which had streams flowing across them.

This was the 1st time in about 3 years we didn't get any snow that stuck. Hailstorms, yes. They were a pain at the old house because we could only fit 1 car in the garage.

As for a check, tell 'em to sell their 2 cars, and part of their income, then maybe they can do that.
