Tickford Falcon

Just wondering if anyone has the Tickford Falcon yet, and is it any good? I'm keen to get it (even if it is a Ford) as its the only Aussie car in the game, just have to save up those 1,500 000 credits *sheesh!*

Yeah...i have it. It is a good car, i don't know if i would go out and buy it though. Everyone seems to rip on it, but i actually loved the thing when i first got it. My advice is to try to win it in the Super Speedway Endurance Race. The race is extremely easy, and you can win 4 really great cars from the race. The clio race car isn't a supercar, but it is actually pretty fun to drive...anyway, all the cars you can win from the Super Speedway Endurance Race are: Corvette C5R, Tickford Falcon XR-8, F090/S, Clio Race Car. Oh yeah, you don't need a super car to win it either...I don't know if i would use the rubberband trick if i were you though, since it doesn't sound like you have a car that is powerful enough to take advantage of it.

i've won the falcon about 4 times out of about 20 times racing the ss endurance. don't buy it. i made a stupid mistake buying the escudo then a day later winning it but i have 6 million credits so it doesn't matter to me.

Anyways, win the super speedway endurance race (rubberband trick, toothpick, etc.) a couple of times to win the tickford. I've won all four cars in that endurance race and the tickford is one helluva ride. I don't drive it much because i don't need to when i have an F1 racer. But my advice to u is...DON'T BUY IT!!! money doesn't grow on trees u know!

cool, thanks for the tips everyone, I'll have a crack at that Endurance race and see how I go. I think I'll have to win it seeings I've only just started the game, and to me, 50,000 credits is a big deal, so can't even imagine 1,500,000 credits!

You'll need to get the Special or a least International A license to race in the Endurance races. BUt once you have you'll be winning vast sums of dirty cash....yeah!

Yeah the Tickford is a piece of trash and not only that it's a big car and with all that hp it's really not that fast unless unless you set it to do the wheelie trick. And yes this car can do it if you set it the same as the Escudo. I got to go to 463.6 mph the other day on the test course.

Yeah i don't like the tickford either they should have put the HRT car instead it was a dumb move puting the tickford in like no body likes seton or crompton anyways.

The V8 supercar races arent that exciting, but the falcon is a sweet car. It handles well enough at speed, and can run with most of the touring cars. As long as you arent running against GT or F1 cars, you can win any race with it.

This is a good car in its place like stated by Brain, but it seems everybody compares it to cars that are not comparable to it. (ie F cars)
So in their opinion they suck.

i didnt use the "rubberband trick" i had a lancer evo6 rs fully modified and i won by a good deal of laps and yes the tickford sucks, it cant turn worth a flip but the bright side is its worth 375,000 cr

to all you HRT lovers , if they put that peice of crap in GT 3 i would sell it the moment i got it. as for not enough go in the XR8 it has plenty and if you dont think so increse the displacement an see how that goes. why do you think they never put a commodore in GT3? i know because they cant even use a holden donk they have to use a chevy to make the sh.t box move.

I bought the escudo and I'm glad. I finally have something for rally. I know that its cheap but rally league is of no importance to me.

Well ok lets count how many times Ford has won a v8 supercar championship compared to a Holden. Holden has sold so many more cars than ford, and the reason why holden has Chev motors is because Holden acually has a kickass partner not like Ford. Holden would kick a fords ass any day of the week.
(only austalian fords suck U.S. and Euro Fords rule)

so thats why ford have shown that they have the fastest over all speed and holden are still in the dark ages.then why have holden gone to the 350 shev and then ford the 302 because if ford had the 351 no holden would be in the race ford have to make a bit of compitition for holden so they sort of look good. so just face it ford a no1 and holden suck.so be a man and scrap holden.

Holden are owned by GM and well Holden are just using a Gm motor. Take it like a man Holden have won car of the year 2 years in a row and Ford was like 4th so Aussie Fords suck.
AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE CAUSE LAKER SAID SO!

Well holden's have to have there under tray cut dramaticly
to make it fair, now thats sad that Ford Falcons are so slow.
Plus whos winning the championship huh ?
