Here in the UK daylight savings time has just kicked in, the time right now in GMT is 11:45pm but looking at the main forum page it says the time is 10:45pm GMT...

you appear to be an hour behind....

its not important, i just thought i would point it out....

the time isnt derived from the local machines, it must come from the time function on the server...either its wrong or the system hasnt adjusted for day light savings...

The Time Is Based On The Servers Time, I Found This Out When Messing Around With A Copy Of PhPBB

i had the same problem, intill daylight savings came and now its all good

Time is based off the server clock. Your profile has a standard offset that simply adds or subtracts a given number of hours based on your time zone as chosen in your profile.

The US will be going on daylight savings time this weekend, so it should even out then.

I never have understood vB's time system...it will be fixed as soon as I figure out how.
