I need the time to change on a custom track so that we start at the earliest time, and end at the latest time during a 2-hour race. What number should I put it on? Anyone looked into this?

I have actually thought about figuring this out, but never really had a use for the knowledge once I had it.

I suggest you find a car with a working interior clock, take it to the Ring and test out the different speeds of “time change” (I am pretty sure that 1 is basically “real time”).

I’m not at home to verify, but I am almost certain that the Maserati GranTurismo S has functioning clocks and other dash features (so that’s a good place to start).

Hope that helps for your race! 👍

Well I think they are x1, x2, x3, etc up to 10? (I'll check when I get home)

So it might depend on how many hours pass for that track. I know the custom Eifel tracks start at 5 or 6am and end around 8pm? Might just take a little math, which I suck at. :dopey:

Yea, so if you start at 6am (custom track) and you want to go to 8pm - thats 14 hours of "game time"- and from what I got from the OP, you want to do 2 hours (120 min) of real time during the race?

So, go to the Ring (in a car with a clock) or another track where you can control the start time and the "x1, x2, x3" settings and then play with them until you find one where 1 "game hour" equals 8.5 minutes of "real time".

With an 8.5 min "game hour" you will go 14 hours (day to night) on your custom track in 119 min (the 2 hour race).
