Just a friendly reminder to people out there. If you have not already set your clocks, please bump them back an hour slower.

Already did, thanks anyway. Love that extra hour of sleep. I wasted it watching crappy sitcoms before going to sleep.

+1 hour here in the land of Aus!

We set our clocks last night. We wanted to be really ready for day lights savings!

We do it before we go to bed. 1 hour forward in the Southern Hemisphere (although not many places do it other than NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and Adelaide.

I didn't realise anyone other place did it.

One thing I find annoying, too, is that the DST settings only work for Northern Hemisphere, so we can't set DST settings. I might enquire about that actually.

Yeah I was confused a bit as my computer automatically set itself foreward.

I never seem to be able to really reap the benefits of the "extra hour" since it's really an illusion anyway. You're not saving any time, simply adjusting to maximize the amount of daylight you get. I go to bed ad midnight, but set the clock back to 11:00pm. But my body still thinks it's midnight anyway, and will wake me up at the normal 7-8 hours from when I go to bed anyway. So if I wake up and find it's actually an hour earlier then I can stay in bed for another hour, which is actually detrimental to your sleep pattern and ends up making me tired usually anyway.

Yeah, I personally don't care for Dayligh Savings, so pointless. It doesn't affect me negativly (except for the fact that I got up at my usual time of 5 am, then realised the reason I was screwed was 'cause it was 'actually' 4 am. :grumpy:

This is very odd. The only item that automaticly adjusted for today's time change was my PC. I have a several devices that should have changed, but didn't. I had to do it myself.

Well I enquired about Southern Hemisphere DST Settings for GTP. Just awaiting Jordan's response.

I'm never affected by Daylight Savings, but I don't care for it.

I had to work 14 damn hours due to this. My PS2 didn't change over either. Grrrrr
