Time for a new GTP banner/header...

It is my view that it’s time for the Mitsubishi EVO VII rally car to be retired, as we can be reasonably certain that the car does not feature in Gran Turismo 4.

Now that we have the means to create high quality images through photo mode, it would be great fun for members to be able to submit photos for use around GT-Planet. Thoughts…

That's too bad.... I liked that car.

I like the current pic, but I'm sure we could do better. Using the photo mode and members submitting photos are cool idea. Maybe we can hold polls every month or so, and winner gets to have his/her photo posted on the banner for a month.
 
Hmmm...now that you mention it, that Evo is always there! It's supposed to change randomly on each page load to one of 5 different images, like it does on the rest of the site. Apparently I removed the Javascript code from the forum's templates at some time... :confused: I'll bring back the rotating script when I get a chance.
 
But could we have a photomode competition for pictures on the banner? I think it would be pretty neat.

Remember I sent you a PM about that like ... a year ago? I had a replacement script for you and everything.

But that leaves out us North Americans, until the 22nd atleast.
 
I think we should have a different one every month!

And make it like a contest I guess.
Like, Jordan can chose the car and area, the best photo gets to be put up in the banner every month. Just an idea. :)

I do seem to remember this...it's what I'm using on the main site isn't it (and what I did use on the forums here until something happened)? :confused:
