Yes - I was reading a few columns marking the date.

I wasn't into F1 when he was around, but seeing the footage he was clearly incredibly gifted - Alesi in the wet seemed to exhibit similar exceptional car control.

I don't remember seeing him race, but I do remember the footage of his accident. Shame, he was taken from the sport too early.
