Right so the time on my PS3 is set correctly, the time on GT5 is set correctly when not online but when I'm signed into PSN and the internet is available, all of a sudden the time is wrong on GT5? Any ideas? I assume it is a synchronization problem with the GT5 servers, so I'm guessing there could be a daylight saving thing been left out or something like that as the clock is an hour fast

try to update your time in ps3 psn from the internet , that ill solve the problem. sometimes it takes 1 minute to make the diference

This error is always to do with the daylight saving option, it will either be on when it should be off or off when it should be on. Change it and set the time by internet and it will be fixed.:)

The time is correct! I switched Daylight saving to Standard then updated the time via the internet ... Thank you all :)

That is because the PS3 daylight savings option does not change accordingly with your location or current date - you'll need to switch it on and off everytime manually.

Lazy firmware programming.
Actually the whole PS3 clock is a bit sloppy it seems, as it has a lot of drift - easily catches a 5 minute drift within a month or 2.

That's all true, my clock gains time all the time, I reset it every month or so because it annoys me.

My phone is the same. I think in the days of Internet time, accurate (expensive) timekeeping has gone out of the window.
