I'm I'm 28 :-( I wanna go back to living at my dads where I don't have to pay rent and I could play computer all day!!! Them where the days cherish them if you have them now. Also good going getting 1st mate I was wondering when you was gonna take it. Well I finish work at 4 today thank god so I will be able to put a few hours on GT before the wife gets home haha

So happy! Had a decent first sector, a decent second sector and a barnstormer of a last sector :D I will post the setup I used tomorrow morning but it isn't much different to Stotty's :) Thank you all for your support :)

Here is the setup I used, it is mostly lifted from Stotty's setup;

Corvette Z06 (C6) '06

Parts
All weight reductions (no chassis strengthening), all power upgrades excl. supercharger, all other non-power altering mods, rear wing

Ballast 200kg @ postition 50
Wing 20
Power limiter 94.6%
Makes 659bhp @ 1,378kg for 580ppts

Settings
Ride 5 21
Spring 12.8 8.9
Rebound 5 4
Bound 4 3
ARB 1 6
Camber 1.6 0.9
Toe +0.20 +0.15

LSD 5 16 5

Brakes 4 4

RESET FIRST! Gears (set max speed to minimum, then set individual gears)

It's possible to get 1:16.344 with this setup so good luck everyone :)

What i think Amo does is that he knows ZO6 is the better car but puts a great lap in the Zr1.. People then spend ages trying to beat it while he fine tunes his ZO6... Its like hes 2days ahead..

Come on Bandit.. An Stotty you can also get in the top 10 :)

Am intrested in this WRS.. Is it timetrials? Am part of a website that does no abs an heavy damage, an has race officials etc..Tbh am intrested in any competition aslong its challenging :)

It's both TT's and Online races. I believe the TT's are central, as it's through these you advance up the league. You have to do the 2nd and 3rd AMG Driving School Intermediate Special Events, save the recordings and send them in as described here. To get a representative placement in the league you should spend a while doing the best you can. One thing you must do to start with, is create a new account on your PlayStation called GTP_McBride (it's fine, we all did it and starting at level 0 is not a problem. A few seasonals brings in the cash required and ups your level so you can do everything necessary - like doing the AMG Driving School). I have every car in the game on my main account and was worried that starting again would be a problem, but I'm friends with myself and can loan cars across the accounts. So far (2 weeks ;)) all the cars I've needed have been premiums I could buy from the dealership. Great crowd in there and I'm sure you'd fit right in among us! Read those threads carefully and you'll see how seriously they take this. There's a bunch of guys doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make this happen. I'm really glad CargoRat pointed me at it.

Am Very passionate about racing,this game an want to reach my limits..
Cant believe am placed 32 on my first timetrial but in saying that i knew i had the ability to some point but i have the feeling i will probably end up 50th which is still fine :)

Cant wait to get on this WRS :D

Am worried about ABS.. I never race with it on :( the pressure is on lol :)

Well the choice is yours and I'm sure some of the best guys have it at 0....I wouldn't know ;). I get the impression that it doesn't slow you down to have it at 0 right? there are other racing groups in here too, something called pure racing I believe, but WRS might be a good way to meet the core racers as half of the members I've met so far seem to be mods and super mods.

Not really its just slightly different braking distances.. But to overcome any hurdle only makes you better :D

You have done wonders with your fine tuning. I'm gaining 0.5 in the 2nd sector all of a sudden. Then i went a tad too far to the right on the 1st right in the 3rd sector.

I think both you and Stotty deserve tune of the week. Definately going on my favourite list.
 
Just did 1:17:873 :) Same setup of Bandit but with some little adjustments (LSD and suspension)

I'm a DS3 player so I'm glad I'm in the 17's

Excellent setup, I got 7/10ths extra from it. Pulled my wrist at work now though, so don't think ill be getting any better. For now anyway. Thanks Stotty. Well done Bandit, awesome lap mate. 👍
 
:lol: you all are killing me with the tune shares....had to crawl back under 200 mark again and it is getting more difficult :eek:

Though it is making it funner for me :cheers: ... I must really not like a loose read end :ouch:

I can never get the gears the Same It just won't work why why whyyyy?

Not sure when/if I'll be able to get a tune sorted. Went to have a go last night and the brake pedal on my G27 if fubared again (it's not releasing fully and keeps flickering on) - I've stripped it and cleaned it 5 or 6 times already... to the point that a couple of the allen bolts holding the pedals on are rounded.

I'm going to have another go at stripping it today, and if I can get it apart I'll swap the clutch pedal for the brake and see if that works. If it doesn't I might just go fetch a new G27.

Hey stotty, I got exactly the same problem as u bud, my brake pedal sticks occasionally and I've had it a few times with the accelerator as well! Conveniently my 12 month warranty has just expired last month lol, but I have seen conversions for the G27 online so u can switch the pedals around like u can with the thrust master. Im sure I could find the link again for u if u want it dude, its a video with step by step instructions on how to do it. I'm seriously thinking about doing it myself in the near future lol
