Lap 1 crashed just after the tight hairpin when the kitten jumped on my knee 😂

Lap 2 hit a barrier in the first section.

Lap 3 pretty cautious until near the end at 8:13 which will do for bronze.

Nurb track limit are quite finicky... a few attempts in red at spots where I thought I was in track limits.
Anyway, 1st lap in 7:50, I pushed more, and my opti is 7:45.

Safe unless aliens go under 7:34, seems unlikely, but who knows, right ?

Why have you posted this in here twice? I'm not sure what this has to do with time trials in the first place, (most of which don't even use tunes) let alone why it's been posted twice.

I think I see what you mean. The way I think I should deal with it is to only show those TTs most people could enter. I'm sort of doing that already by default by not showing results of regional TTs such as the recent US Porsche one.

On that basis it would make sense to exclude the Suzuka one, which only people under 18 can enter.

Happy to take views but suspect that may be the simplest solution. Might reflect again on it in the morning, when I will be less full of Malbec and Sauternes!

Gran Turismo made a mistake in setting up the time trials for Honda.
This is mentioned in the regulations: U17 Class (6 to 17 years old) and Challenge Class (18 years and older)
In the Suzuka time trial there are also years under 6 years old so in theory they should not be able to participate even in the Suzuka TT.

However, they would have to put only one TT box and based on the age entered in the questionnaire only the corresponding TT would appear, or they would only have to enter the questionnaire once and then when trying to enter the TT that did not match your age you would have to see an error message.

At the moment I will only participate in my TT (Nordschleife), then if the rules change or put an option to participate transparently then I will do that too.

As a 44 year old man, I feel no need to compete with the younger generation. Both for ego and just sensibility reasons.

I have no problems placing low in our boards but have no desire to get in the way of some children trying to do the best they can in a game im trying to do the best I can and they are. I'm personally not gonna put myself ahead of a few children.

Finally got Dragon Trail down for a gold. Had to wait until I was finished with Manu before going back to try. Practicing both directions in the same sessions was messing with me.

The break-through for me was getting the final turn done in 3rd and I should’ve remembered that from eons ago doing a daily.
Too old I guess but I can still learn from enough hard knocks 😂

I'm young at heart and suck at the ring. I either run too slow or go off course. So I identify as 17 and I am and gaining places on the board. Next I plan to swim in the NCAA.

110 miles driven at the ‘Ring… 0.5 second improvement. I was pleased to move a little safer from the drop zone, but disappointed with the small gain if I’m honest.

Watched a couple of replays and realised that I’m driving the car like I own it… switched to Rental Car mode and found another 2 seconds on the next clean lap!! Quite pleased to be now sitting on a mid 7:48!

The difference is huge per day, yesterday i was kind of on fire and was at times aside and ahead on my +0.6 ghost, this morning was kind of different, i did spent 1,5 hours collecting invalid laps en TRY to chase myself.....
I feel like my kittens..., running around your own tail and not going to get it that way....

No improvement., besides my frustration-level

So I did one clean lap yesterday evening at the Nordschleife in 7:48, well, not sure where I’m gonna find that 4s in order to beat the real world record.

Have you tried running without ghost or delta? Ghost in GT7 distract me too much (I wish it would turn more transparent, the closer you get). And delta, more often than not, also takes my focus away from driving. Section split times give some info about pace and aren't as distracting to me. Still don't get why we can't have customizable HUD though.

Came back from a few days away for work and a cold which knocked me out, to claim two golds which held (and one of those was by less than a tenth!).

Need to put some time in to the Dragon Trail TT. Need to find approx. 1.2s to get into gold time...

What's the deal with all these age-restricted TT's in the Honda's? I've just been reading about people faking their age to compete in them. Not sure what is going on...

Nice multitasking right there
Toggling ghost on and off or using the MFD during a hot lap throws me off too much. I can do this in races but when pushing I'm usually fastest when limiting my focus to driving.

+1 for having a delta of our PBs in general if it was able to be toggled on or off. I find it far less distracting than using a ghost.
