Time Trial glitch

Seems there's a bug in the latest time trials, the one on Madrid Mini.
After so long my rankings stopped updating and can't get into the pause menu anymore. I can pause the game, but there are no options on screen.

Anyone else encountered this?
 
Not experienced that one, but I just watched the ghost of the guy at the head of the list (in the white integra RM) smash into the walls at the hairpin. The collision detection (and subsequent invalidation of the lap time) is appalling on this challenge!
 
I noticed that coming out of the first turn on one of my laps, went a bit wide and hit the side, thought it would have usually been invalidated, seems they've turned it down for this.

Yeah, absolute garbage....fastest way around is to slam the walls.

I had the same yesterday. Eventually I resorted to quitting the game as that seemed the only option.

Incidentally, when that happens and you pit, you get the auto drive for a bit, but after that you're free to roam around in the pits while watching it with the same camera as replay, something you can't change. Weird, that.
 
I think it may be a buggy event in general as I had alot of trouble like hanging screens etc. while trying to load the event and exiting. Had to quit to XMB twice in 2 minutes, and at one time GT5 refused to load. I panicked, even my dad looked at my face and asked if I was ok. All fine in the end though. Phew
 
Absolutely pathetic. All top 10 drivers, so far, have smashed into the walls. Yet again, a TT has been ruined. It's not PD fault. It's yours; for looking for walls to gain time from.

For me, I usually just grab my gold and move on. Although, lately I've been checking my times against my friends list and re-running some of the trials to get better times for "bragging" rights. ;) :lol::odd:

I had it hang after I posted my first time and quit, left it since I didn't want to have to exit to the XMB. It eventually responded, the drift trial at Daytona can be pretty bad for this, if you haven't tried it yet.
Eventually I just quit out to XMB, haven't tried it again since.

Yes, I had the same yesterday. I'm not alone :dunce:
 
Same here, after a while the game hangs and the only way out is to quit completely.

Couldn't believe I was so far off the leaders time so I loaded his (or her!) ghost replay only to find that it's a joke and that to get anywhere close I was going to have to bounce off the tyres at full speed at every corner! As rhp82amman has already said -'pathetic' - time to pull the plug on this TT.
 
I just checked the leaderboard for the right car, ran the lap and took my million. Put it towards a nice 0 mile C9.
 
+1 here. Ran some laps ok but when exiting I got a black screen with a GT logo in the bottom right, hard drive light flickering and I could hear the cars going around the track. No gold money or prize either as it never got that far. Quit to XMB after maybe 5 minutes of nothing happening. Reloaded fine but didn't get the new time registered.
 
daft is madrid..got fast time and it says i won gold but when i come out and back in it shows only silver trophy..strange.
 
I got my silver, then ran a few more times trying for gold, had to quit to xmb when it hung, then when I went to do the madrid TT again it showed I only had bronze, and yet my best lap time was showing I should have the silver. When I did get the gold, it gave me another silver payout aswell!
