Similar to the Super License Poll, which one did you find the most difficult? So far I've beaten TT1 and it was relatively easy compared to the last time I attempted it. Must be getting better at driving :)

I'm really close to getting TT2, I'm on pace for the first 3 segments but I need to work on the last couple of turns because I lose alot of time there.

I just wanted to see how well I could do on TT10, but I'm off-pace by the 2nd segment.
 
I'll vote for TT10 as well. Even though it's by far my most favorite car in the game, the track in combination with the ASM and TCS Make it very hard.

The real disappointment is that the car set-up makes it more difficult that it should be. The inability to turn ASM and TCS off inhibit the ability to get the back end around when it really needs to.

TT9 was a tough one as well, but once learned how close you can cut corners, it's much easier.

TT10 took me longer - less than 3 hours in two sittings - than TT9, but I found TT9 to be more frustrating for some reason.
 
TT10 for me by far. I agree about the inability to turn on/off ASM/TCS. I bet the first time I did that I sat there for two or three hours as well. I think the hardest part for me was figuring out the stupid first corner. Anywhere else in the game that car rocks but there it is a slug bucket.

I have gold on a grand total of 0 time trials, but 10's the one I'm furthest away from and is most irritating.
 
Eagle, if you search for "TT10" on the GT3 board, it should find a couple of pointers for you (including one by yours truly, with my awesome "just barely gold").
 
I found TT9 to be the most annoying to me. Mainly because I'm not much of a rally racer. I liked TT10 very technical track and that's a + for me :)
 
I got so annoyed at TT 10, I gave away GT3....
That and I was hoping that GT4 would be out soon. Wishful thinking. :mad:
 
I would have to say that Time Trial 10 is probably the most frustrating and difficult out of all of them.I think I had more hair pulling cursing frustrations doing the time trials than golding the license tests.There were several times where I was about to get out my shotgun and shoot the PS2 to pieces.:trouble: :irked: But a break and walk solved that. I normally do not throw controllers but doing the Time Trials I actually broke one lol. :O
 
By "get those times" I assume you mean times good enough to gold the licenses or beat the TT times...

Either way, DS2 for me all the way. In fact, GT3 is the only place in life I have ever steered a car with a schtik... Couple of tractors but never a car...:lol:

Been thinking about converting one of my Land Cruisers to DS2... see how it works on the trail :lol: Be kinda cool actually... get a cord extension long enough so I could get out and spot myself through the really tough sections. Maybe sit in the passenger seat and weird folks out driving down the road... Cordless might be better. Just kinda follow it around town in another rig. I mean, who are the police gonna ticket when they pull it over for doing something wrong. Herbie the Land Cruiser...

I have a video of a remote controlled car. but an actual car and yes i did mean the times to get golds. i love the steering wheel, i don't even care if i don't get as good of times, but with the controller, i have a hard time controlling how i hit the buttons, with the pedals it is like clock work.
 
TT10 for sure. It's the longest track and there is not much moments when you can lose your concentration. I kept trying to improve my time after golding on all TTs except this one : I made it once and that's enough.
 
Looks like general concensus lies with TT10, which is logical really.

If I give it a proper go again I'll go have a look for some relevant threads, thanks for the tip neon duke.
 
TT09 was the one I always had trouble with. I disliked the rally cars; I was never really pleased with them, and their handling. But, this last time around, TT09 was easy. I got it on my second try, close behind my first attempt which was almost gold.

TT10 isn't hard for me. It's just boring as hell, so I lose interest in it while playing. Then, my concentration slips, and I make a mistake.
 
Complex string is the most complicated I reckon. the easyest was the one with the S2000, I got that first shot.
 
I can't believe how long it took me to get TT2...I was consistently off by 0.2 seconds at the end despite having leads in the first 3 segments. Then I just looked at the demo and figured out the speed and racing lines...and beat it by 1.20+ seconds! I was thinking pretty damn good...so I check the GT3times...and that's still slower than the 10th rank person by 2 seconds! damn I'm slow...oh well
