That 'average place' column really should be refined to include only recent results. Or to at least exclude abnormally large misleading placements that inflate the average.
I can wait until GT8 to resolve my average placing woes

Although for the those new here, they might think I'm a hero for finishing top 500 with an average like mine 😂😂😂 (I'm okay with that lol)

Here are some statistics for TT152 at Fuji International Speedway in the RUF RGT 4.2 '16.
Gold streak has officially been broken. 🙂

Maybe I'll take this opportunity to a take a short break. This summer's been pretty busy, and I'll be out of town again next week.

Happy gold mining to the rest of you! Kiddos are back to school next month, so I'll see y'all no later than then. 😎

Happy to oblige. How about adding two columns :
  • Average place last 25 TTs (happy to use a different number)
  • Average place excluding worst 3 results (again, just a number)
It would look like this for the current Spa one:

I like the idea of a "recent average" and would also greatly benefit from it ;) (my average is over 10000), but three columns over-complicate things a bit, don't you think? I would at least get rid of the "Avg. except worst 3" as it is a bit arbitrary (as would be any other number). There are statistical methods to smooth the effect of outliers, but again, is it really needed?

I think none of it is really needed but as always am happy to accommodate reasonable requests. I think a compromise would be to keep both columns but not show them in the picture, only in the Excel attachment.

@Metalgear9493 since it is you who asked for this, can you give feedback on whether this is what you had in mind?

Drivers with gold in all TTs
The number of drivers with gold in all TTs dropped to 48. Surprisingly it was an A+ driver who did take part, but only achieved silver.

I like the new "avg of last 20" stat. 👍

Pretty darn pleased with my result in this one. I'd been really stuck at 3.03% for days - not even able to get within about half a second of the "unicorn" time I'd somehow posted. Then when the top time dropped yesterday I fell to 3.08%. I was totally settled on just taking the silver and moving on but last night I decided I'd give it one more shot and almost right off the bat I started putting up times that were nearer to my PB, and optimals that bettered it. About an hour in I managed to put up a time about 4 tenths better than my previous best and you've never seen anyone exit a TT event faster than I did that one! A nano-second after seeing I'd done it I was OH-YOU-TEE OUT!

Who? :odd:

That’s a cursed arse leaderboard, lol. Like the Amuse NISMO at BB Raceway.

I know his silver doesn't show on his profile page, but it was him. He was 12,426th with a time of 1:55.217. I think the official pages are off, because mine shows 153 golds at the moment, which is a couple short (should be 155 including the UK and Euro ones).

The medal for the TT that just finished won’t show on the official page until it is claimed/received in game along with the money.

Ah, I didn't know that. I've not been on the game since last week, so makes sense.
