Ack. I was unsure if I wanted to attempt the 2J TT and didn't put in a lap until the final day. I wish I had attempted it earlier. A top 100 would have probably been out reach, but it definitely would have been better overall. I had a terrible first sector on my fast lap - over a tenth off my normal runs through there and two tenths off my best. Why did I wait? :ouch:

Once again it is an amazing document of how quick the people here are: more than the half of this leaderboard has got gold while there are only 5% of all participating players worldwide! (I skipped this one die the lack of play time) There is a little bit of extraterrestrial in all of you! Well done! ❣️ (Sorry, @Wilsonson! That was Close.)

poor showing for myself in this one. I set the silver time early on, then the complexities of life got in the way and when I did finally get some wheel time in I focused on the Blue Moon event. Once I'd set a decent time in that I just didn't have the desire to go back to Suzuka lol. I was actually a little concerned I might wake up to my first bronze of the year.

Thanks mate. I was on knife's edge all two weeks and just hoped to hang on. Must have been a last second improvement by about a tenth that sent me into silver.

I have been playing these games ever since I could remember (oldest memory I have of GT is playing Northern Isle Speedway in the Mercedes VGT), and I struggle to get in the top 10%. People who can easily get into the top 1% easily are insane.

I just barely beat my old PB in the same track and car combo from March this year by .067:

Old PB:

New PB:

Another interesting thing is how my new PB would be 115th on the old global leaderboard and top 100 was below .170 at minimum. I'm guessing there was less participants this time around compared to last time?

178,178 last time versus 191,301 this time.

Ah I see, then I guess it's possibly because people didn't push as much as last time or possibly something to do with the physics since then? Although I personally never noticed anything different with this car specifically as it's very glued to the road.
