Ah, thanks for making the thread. Will give this a quick shot immediately.

Will my time be approved without video? I can only make a photo of the result screen. Is it ok?

Welcome " BANzai "...
pics should b ok..
but as Hyland said please follow rules..

p.s. see if you can borrow someones... SMARTPHONE:idea:

After a few tweaks and lot of practice laps:

2'01.886
Yamaha YZF-R6 '05
Pro Mode

It was a lot harder than I expected. The R6 is also very prone to powerslide and spin. Proper throttle managment is absolutely crucial to get this bike around Grand Valley.

Will post a video.

2'01'886( you )
-2'02'154( me )

i am still working on beating that time ..
i just wanted to post where i was..!!

Hey, DOKNYCE! Are you ready to shave off another ~1.5 seconds off your time? ;)

I'm aware of the fact that I promised a video 2 months or so ago but honestly, I wasn't entirely satisifed with my time. I've been trying different 599cc/600cc bikes for about a week now and finally managed to find one I'm confident with - the Moriwaki CBR600RR. It weighs the same as the R6 but differs in horsepower (129 versus 127). However it has slightly better torque than the R6 which, I assume, makes up for it.

I did a 2'01.2xx lap time with the R6 but I considered it to be very inconsistent and in my opinion unclean too. Anyway, here's my new personal best:

jtusb6T.png

The settings are the following (the ones that are adjustable):
Suspension - Front/Rear
Preload - 10/10
Shocks (Rebound) - 5/5
Shocks (Bound) - 5/5

Tyre
Production

Drivetrain
Final - 2.446

Edit: Video will be posted as soon as possible.

Edit 2: The video, as promised. There was however too much background noise so I added some music instead.
Also, once again, sorry for the lame quality.
