HI :)

Do you think this will work as a time zone glitch :
Back up save datas , Do system restore (the one that only restores the settings) that should kind of restart the PS3 , than it asks you to pick your time zone and just pick the one that's closest to reset and you can send 2 or maybe even 3 car a day if you keep doing it ;)

So what do you think ?

Thanks :D

No cause GT5 has its own "time" database.. If you try to manually adjust the time or timezone it will tell you that your date and time are incorrect please check your settings, then put the correct time up on your game anyways.. Good idea though!

My time zone is GMT+7
But my previous setting (default) is GMT+8
And when i'm in GMT+8,i have no problem getting into GT5 , but when i change the time in settings , not by restoring system setting , it does give me that warning :)

It's worth a shot though , will give it a try tomorrow :D

Same here kinda.. 10 miles west of me is where the timezone changes from eastern to central.. No matter what I do the PS3 and GT5 demands central time zone even though I live in eastern.. I did try what you are going to try but I just changed the time and zone manually instead of the restore, but that was also probably a year and a half ago. But at that time in that way it did not work

Changing a Time Zone setting only works for Bonus Percentage obtaining (which stored on the game-save side and *scheduled* to run every time when your in-console clock *thinks* midnight has passed).

You can't cheat Send-A-Car because that one is saved on the server-side under your MAC/PSNID address preferences (and it gets automatically updated for every 23h59m after each Car/Vehicle Ticket sent).

I call BS on this, I know quite well that... I go to work at 8:30 eastern.. I send out 2 cars before work, 1 at 7:45 pm eastern and one at 8:05 eastern.. That because the reset time is 8pm eastern, so waiting 24 hours has nothing to do with this.. But the more I think about it MY RESET TIME IS 8pm.. But if you lived in central time zone your reset time would be 7pm central.. So I believe the only way this would work is if you advanced your time zone, then reversed it after you send your second car.. You might try that..

Also there is no date code "in" the data, I have looked at it with ParamEdit.. There is a date code on the save file name but that could be taken care of just fine if you were duping..by reverting the save data from a USB to the earlier time before advancing your time zone

I'm gotta try this tomorrow :grumpy:

Don't. It doesn't work.

As amar212 says, you may change your timezone on your console to trick the game into giving you your daily bonus every hour (wait for midnight console time to pass, receive bonus, go to XMB, change timezone back by one hour, go back to game, wait for midnight console time to pass, receive bonus, repeat), which is good for building up the bonus to 200% if you've been away.

You may send ONE car per server day from any one console OR PSN account. The server day starts at 00.00 GMT. You have no control over the server day.

Well I hate to say it cause I thought alot into it also and got myself excited lol, but If Famine says it doesn't work, that is definitely good enough for me to not try it either..
